  1. what hang’em Chaim does this offseason for the 2023 season at short stop has consequences down the road. How he solves this dilemma will have a huge impact on our organization for years to come. I’m not sure moving athletes to other positions or trying to work a trade is an ideal or practical solution. But the other side of the coin is there is no guarantee that Mayer ever develops into a major leaguer.
  2. What free agent starting pitcher(s) does Hang’em Chaim sign this offseason? 2023 starters Sale - bruises easier than a banana. Pivetta - mediocre at best Bello - future star. How long until he puts it all together? Crawford - when he is healthy and has command and control, he is good. But when he doesn’t, it gets ugly! Winkowski - no margin for error as his stuff is ordinary. Seabold - not an mlb starting pitcher, but could really excel in the bullpen. Mata - electric stuff, but needs more seasoning at Worcester next season. We need two free agent starters. Should we sign two of wacha, eovaldi, manea, syndergard, odorizzi?
  3. Any chance eovaldi gets back soon?
  4. For 2023, we have a dilemma at shortstop! Mayer is on the way, but still 2 years away! If bogey stays through the end of his contract, this seems like a perfect handoff. Bogey’s contract expires and Mayer takes over. However, if we have to add years to bogey’s deal or go out and sign a replacement for 5 years this could change things greatly. Hang’em Chaim needs to figure this all out, while hopefully learning how to draft pitchers early and how to build a real bullpen.
  5. I expect hickey, binelas and Kavadas to start next year in Portland. I hope Rafeala and Koss start next year in Worcester.
  6. Koss with his 16th tater of the season.
  7. Rafeala with his 11th Portland tater of the season. I believe that makes him the first 20-20 Red Sox prospect if the season!
  8. Five popular ways to acquire talented pitchers: 1.) the draft - not really Hang’em Chaim’s thing early in the draft! 2.) international signing - not really Hang’em Chaim’s thing to sign top 20 internationally ranked pitchers! 3.) trades - vastly underutilized by Hang’em Chaim. 4.) free agent signings - Hang’em Chaim seems to shop for Kia pitchers and routinely passes on Bugatti pitchers. 5.) rule 5 draft - Hang’em Chaim got a hit on this! As you can see Hang’em Chaim is his own worst enemy when it comes to acquiring pitching!
  9. As Bello gets more experience, he is proving to me that he has the stuff to get major league hitters out. Once he learns to eliminate crooked run innings, he is going to be really good!
  10. At Portland, Hamilton with his 11th tater of the season and abreu with his 2nd.
  11. 1.) why do you associate acquiring quality arms with big spending? 2.) yorke, Mayer, and Romero are big contact guys. One of the two types of hitter that Hang’em Chaim covets. 3.) binelas, Jordan, Kavadas, etc power guys.
  12. At Worcester, Valdez with his 6th tater tonight.
  13. I was only counting home grown walks! Hang’em Chaim has traditionally been collecting two types of hitters, huge contact hitters and power guys. If he seen the error of his ways and now pivoting to high obp guys, then all I have to say is “what took him so long to see the light?” Now that he is going with high obp hitters; in order for Hang’em Chaim to fully remove his head from his sphincter, he needs to do two things: 1.) start collecting pitchers with power arms and electric stuff!!!! 2.) Secondly Hang’em Chaim desperately needs to learn how to build a bullpen!!!!! No more Robles, Danish, brazier and other fecal matter arms. We want high quality power arms in the bullpen!!! No more retreads!!!!!!
  14. Can he get two more walks this season? Been a while since we had a 100 walk minor leaguer.
  15. What happened to binelas and Kavadas’s ability to hit when they got promoted from Greenville to Portland?
  16. Wong with a Boston tater!
  17. At Salem, Paulino with his second tater of the night. He now has 13 on the season.
  18. At Greenville, hickey with a second tater tonight. He now has 8 on the season.
  19. At Salem, Paulino with his 12th tater of the season and Mejicano with his 5th tater of the season!
  20. At Greenville, hickey with his 7th tater of the season and Davis with his 18th tater of the season.
  21. So does that give him 98 on the season? That is mind numbing.
  22. At Worcester Duran with his 7th tater of the season. If only he knew how to play defense!
  23. At Salem, 18 year old ravelo with his 1st tater, a grand tater at that, on the season.
  24. At Portland, Kavadas with his 2nd Portland tater of the season and ………….… and …………………. wait for it…………………..….… it’s amazing……………..….yes…………..…….. His 96th walk of the season!
  25. At Salem, meidroth, a 4th round pick in the 2022 draft with his 3rd tater of the season.
