Ummm, the only "data" that matters is that all of the writers that vote for the HOF aside from 1 agree with me. As do most people that have more than half a clue about the game. Talk about lacking reading comprehension skills. Smh.......

gonzalez's OPS is a 52 at bat sample size. It's .672 over his career while yoshi's is .776 for his career.

You can believe whatever you like, that doesn't make it true. And the "increased risk of injury" is way over-blown. How many 1B go down for an injury every year due to playing in the field........

That's kinda misleading. If devers was at 1B with a .920 OPS and someone like yoshi was in the DH spot with an OPS of .750 or better, wouldn't that be an overall improvement?
