    And Witherspoon too apparantly---HUGE HUGE overpay. We have dumped 3 very high pitching prospects for an oft injured C and a guy who got hurt his first game. Our prospect pitching pool we worked so hard to build is almost totally depleted. I like Ruschman but I HATE THIS DEAL !!

    i'd like to upgrade at C most. i think we have enough in house options at SS. another SP and or reliever would be nice but not crucial. Despite our 2nd half i still don't think this our time. I certainly do not trade any more our top prospects especially Arias or Eyvanson.

    this is 2026 no the end of 2025 and he has been amazing on both sides of the ball. A total 100$ untouchable right now.

    some extra depth would be nice wouldn't be mortgaging our future for a guy like this. i really dont think this is our year to really contend for a WS . I wasn't a fan of trading Early either and that was before Mead got hurt.

    i am not familiar with Singer but his numbers this year dont look good at all. unless it is a lower non pitching prospect i'd pass. He seems like nothing more than depth to me.

    just stay with ewe have. Don't be giving up any more of our top prospects especially P. Either Arias or Mayer should be able to be the future SS starting in 2026. As good as July has been I don't see us as true WS contenders in 2026.

    this will be a tough matchup tonight. Hopefully Tolle is up for the challenge.

    we should be offering him at least a 2 year extension but instead will likely scour the rehabbing pitchers list and see who else we can sign for a 2 yr deal even though they are guaranteed to not pitch the first year at all. Sound familiar ?-and no Sandavol is not alone in these signings. Why offer 2 years to a guy who has been lights out ON THE FIELD?

    he has certainly been good for a while now and his D has been great too.

    we dont trade any of the young SP on our roster and i don't trade Witherspoon or Evanyson either. we waited way too long to get young quality cost controlled SP to trade it away especially for a SS when we have Mayer and Arias coming.

    guy is not perfect but he is the best defensive CF in baseball and his bat is quite improved this year. Find some one else to kick. You can start with Weissert. that guy should never be used in a key spot. garbage innings only.

    Not sure I’d give up Mayer. How about Campbell and maybe our #5 or 6 ranked P prospect. Maybe Duran??

    I admit to not being that familiar with him I think I am just jaded by how many rehab pitchers we have signed that have not worked out and Sandoval is clearly on that list. We gave him 2 years and have got nothing out of him yet with just 2 months to go. Yet Sonny Gray has been incredible for us- why not extend him for at least 2 but not more than 3 years. We give 2 yr deals for guys who don’t give us 2 months of quality. The list of those is long and includes Sandoval at this point.

    Not a huge Breslow fan but he has significantly improved the young pitching which I have long called for.

    i am not super high on Bello any more but if had started game 2 the other day our win streak might still be going. I have ZERO faith in Sandavol to he proves otherwise and adding the contract of Lindor is pretty much impossible and i think you know that Moon. We have too many other SS options to even consider that IMO.

    campbell is worth next to nothing on the trade market. nothing but a thrown in to get off his contract

    and what do you do with Arias when he arrives or if Mayer EVER gets back on the field. We need to move off of Story as soon as possible but there is almost ZERO chance of Henry allowing a contract that Lindor has on the payroll. I don't even disagree with him on that.

    what is with him and Anthony not being able to stay on the field. Anthony has been out forever and it wouldn't surprise me if he was out for the year

    i was looiking forward to seeing the games in this series and thank god it's tonight's pitching matchup i will miss due to apple tv. don't like our odds tonight with the pitching match-up but given our run of late you never know. not much faith Sandal though and Yeseavage can be very tough

    i'd rather see Mayer as the everyday SS next year.
