    Henry is either cheap or out of touch with the realities of the economics of today's free agent market. if he doesn't sign Burnes, i hope Fenway is completely devoid of fans until he comes to his senses.

    reports are now saying Burnes cost will be more than the Sox want to pay and they are exploring the option of reuniting with Pivetta. you can't hate this front office enough.

"they spend in cycles", "he's waiting for the right time", "can't spend until the farm is ready". one ******** excuse after another. maybe Henry needs to hire another dozen or so vice-presidents. good thing he brought Theo back too. he's made a huge impact.

    what does it meant to you? to me, it means he's screwing around when he needs to be signing players. we need starting pitching and, to date, not only have we not signed a starter, we're down one with the loss of Nick. the Dodgers signed Snell and will probably sign Sasaki. Henry, as usual, will sign some retread and call it good.

    the Dodgers have 7 players with 9 figure contracts. the Red Sox have 2. and the Dodgers are supposedly in on Soto. the Red Sox can afford to sign him and Burnes.
