  1. are other players besides Durbin getting hitting advice from somewhere else?
  2. from what i've read, not every team uses them to the same extent. some hardly at all, some a little more and one team appears to be more "all-in" than all the others -the Boston Red Sox. the same Boston Red Sox that sit at the very bottom (or nearly so) of every offensive statistical category in the league.
  3. i would have never guessed Slaten that high or Weissert that "low".
  4. he clearly has something wrong and he doesn't seem to be progressing at all.
  5. his 2026 stats are some of the worst in the league. something definitely wrong. i've got a felling he's going to make Sale look like an Iron Man..
  6. i read that too. which, to me, begs the question: is his recent improvement an indictment of Driveline or just a coincidence?
  7. he's not even throwing right now. i'd be surprised it he pitches again this year.
  8. the Sox are in last, 12 games behind the first place Rays, yet they have the exact same record on the road - 15-14. crazy.
  9. why bring in a reliever to blow the game at the end when you can bring him and have it blow it at the start.
  10. wasn't long ago, you were all over trading for Vientos and Baty, who currently have a combined -0.4 fWAR.
  11. you can bet your ass that if we're ahead and we allow a couple of base runners, Tracy will put Uber Driver Wiessert in to give up the lead. and that's before yesterday. 🔽
  12. i said at the time, and i'll say it again, i felt like he could have got more for Devers, especially if he had waited til the trade deadline. then he trades the "centerpiece" of the trade (Harrison) for a utilityman that can't hit his weight. that's insane. guys like durbin/monostereo/hamilton/cheng/etc. are a dime a dozen. and he gave up a pitcher for one. just nuts. whatever. i'd say the Crochet trade is TBD (as you always like to say). so far, he's been far less reliable than Chris Sale was at the same point in their Sox careers. Contreras and Suarez look good so far, but, again, lets go with TBD. same with Gray. TBD. signing Chapman was excellent. it's just too bad the offense sucks so bad that he doesn't get more chances. instead of "literally", next time i'll use "nearly" so i'm not crucified for grammatical context. my bad. so...bottom line: Brez has made a couple of good moves, a few meh moves and a s*** ton of garbage moves.
  13. you guys are nuts. i can't believe you keep defending the horrible job your GM has done. the return for Devers is now Durbin and Monostereo. LOLOL....what a f***ing joke of a trade. literally every move he makes turns to s***. not to mention the fact that the team he has built is in last place and last or nearly so in every offensive category. yeah....you and Brady keep fluffing for him.
  14. problem is....i don't trust Breslow to make a trade on a fantasy league team. knowing him, he'll trade Chapman for another AAAA utiltyman that can't hit, field, run or throw.
  15. i like what Carrabis called Wiessert -"Uber driver" Wiessert. because he always makes sure all inherited runners get home safely.
  16. and to think Bresloverpay traded a major league starting pitcher for this AAAA utility-man-dime-a-dozen loser is mind-blowing.
