    it's a fair take. Breslow's handling of the Devers situation has done a great deal of harm. we had a promising infield, then one little piggy got hurt, one little piggy went to SF, one little piggy stayed home and one went wee wee wee all the way to the bank.

    they're just not being serious. they don't upgrade when they can. they pull this "we're interested in ________" s*** every f***ing year when we all know it's ********. and then sign some loser to fill a hole that could have easily been filled with a better player.     kinda way i see it. they'll be "interested" in everybody, sign nobody, make a minor trade and continue to act like a small-market team. their main strategy appears to be trade for or sign fringy (cheap) players and HOPE things work out.

    there are some reports on X that the Mets are only offering Alonso three years. the Sox need to step up and sign him. then sign Polanco or Bregman.
