  1. Big inning here with top of the order.
  2. 64 through 5. So far so good.
  3. Pitch count good so far.
  4. That was great to see. He’s taken lots of crap on here the last few weeks.
  5. DJ. being out is a loss for the Yankees, and it seemed he was always on base against the Sox.
  6. I don’t think any of the Yankees are feeling any pressure, because they were supposed to win the div, or the Red Sox are feeling any less pressure, because they wasn’t supposed to be here. Both teams are fighting for their lives.
  7. Does any of these guys have good stats against Cole? I believe Fred Schwaber is 3-17.
  8. Good stats, but how about against Cole?
  9. I think Bra with one big day of rest will get in before most of these guys.
  10. Agree. If this was a series then it would be a whole other discussion. If something happened to EO early such as a injury I can see going to Richards, but outside of that it’s a lopsided game one way of the other for him to get in.
  11. I think way to much is being made of how many pitchers, and who is on the roster. This is a one game playoff, and not like the last 6 games of the season when a lot of arms in the bullpen were running on fumes, and could only go 1 inning at a time. If EO can’t at least get into the 6th inning I think the Sox are in trouble. Whitlock being back is huge, and good for a couple of innings, so I don’t see a lot of pitches being used in this game.
  12. I think this has to be a low scoring game for the Sox to have a chance. The Sox bats for the most part have been having a slumber party for the last week, or so against not your best pitching staffs, and Cole is a lot better than that. Of course this is a lot different atmosphere, and Cole has been knocked around a little bit lately, so anything can happen, and probably will.
  13. JD is out, so how much buzzar can you get then tripping over a base to go play D.
  14. 100% agree. The fact that Farrell won says it all.
  15. Well said, but I wasn’t one that didn’t think the Sox would be a good team this year. They had a pretty good 2-4 batting order, and was getting E Rod, and Sale back at sometime too. I didn’t count on 90+ wins, but I thought they would be pretty good. As for home field advantage as I wrote before I don’t think it exists especially against the Yankees who love to play in Fenway.Either way the Sox have a chance, and once your in ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE!
  16. Maybe Ralph Houck? That was a show to see him argue with the umps, and throw his hat. I’d just like to see Cora do that one time.
  17. Always wanting someone to own up for something.
  18. I wouldn’t put Cora up there Tito. The league was a lot tougher back in Tito’s days, and I think about anyone could have managed that 2018 team. They were that good.
  19. Bobby V was a clown show, and in a world all to himself.
  20. Well said, and that’s what most fans do especially when you go from one extreme to the other between the first half of the season, and the second half when to say they struggled would only be a mild exaggeration.
  21. I just never would have hired him in the first place, or anyone else who was involved. Yes hate is a powerful word, and especially when it isn’t true. I like Cora, and I know the players like him, but I would like to see a little more fire out of him.
  22. You said I hated Cora, and I’m still waiting for you to show me where I said that, or is it exaggerating at its best.
  23. I would say everyone is guilty of twisting in the wind, and turning on that so called dime sometime pitch to pitch. It is pretty comical, and is pretty much all the same thing, and I’m sure it will be the status quo on Tuesday. Can’t wait.
  24. I didn’t know we had beaten the Yankees already.
  25. I’m not the one over analyzing, but I’m wondering who said Pivetta was going to the pen. If I was over analyzing I’d say Pivetta was going to the pen. We’ve to get to that point first, and beat the Yankees.
