  1. You mean like a cult following? That explains it all. A.B.B.
  2. Gutless, Disdain, and naive, and the hits just keep on coming. Come on man! Is that all you got? A.B.B.
  3. This is the fourth time you’ve mentioned talk show callers that you said you didn’t want to hear about. Amusing that you can’t help yourself, but because I’m so naive I guess that’s understandable. A.B.B.
  4. abb. Anybody but Bloom. What I should have said about DD was I was kind of a fence sitter. He made a couple of good trades for a closer, and a starting pitcher, but then turned around, and made a bad choice to resign Sale. I don’t think he ruined the farm though.
  5. Price I’ll give you, but how come Bloom hasn’t produced anyone to take Bobby D’s place? Budget? Who else on the Buget doesn’t belong there? Farm you’re right Bloom hasn’t produced anyone from the farm. To close I was never a DD supporter, or criticizer either.
  6. Outside of the Sale fiasco what else is DD responsible for that has caused the current situation?
  7. Media, and fan base is a whole different game in itself in Boston compared to Tampa.
  8. Who said anything about not criticizing Bloom at all? I never said that, but as usual over analyzing something. I on the other hand think Bloom is way over his head in Boston. Are you with me? Give me a hell yea!
  9. The P.B.A don’t have a very high membership outside of the few charter members on here. It makes them feel good though.
  10. More than one on here have said Bloom, and Cora got the Red Sox to 2 games of the WS last year, and I’m fine with that logic, so following the same logic Bloom, and Cora have made the mess that the Red Sox are this year. Sounds good to me.
  11. You keep bringing up talk show callers that you don’t want to hear about. Well they’ve talked about this on the Red Sox pregame show, and during the game broadcast by the announcers just like they have about where Whitlock belongs on the staff, so I guess they are all bad people too. Anyone who shares a different opinion than you you don’t want to hear about, but that doesn’t change the fact there are many many out there.
  12. Their slipping. Does John Henry know that?
  13. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? You don’t need talk show callers to know this team is a mess from Top to bottom.
  14. If you’re not planning on resigning them no.
  15. Thanks for the warning, but I’ve been there, and done that, but their barks are worse than their bites.
  16. I’m all for trading players you can’t sign, but it should have been done long before now. I said before that Mookie was traded one year to late. Low balling Bogey, and Raffy just before the season just set the tone for this season, and to me it’s all on Bloom. Just get rid of everyone, and change the team name from the Red Sox to the Boston Prospects, and they can play in the Gold Rush League.
  17. If the fire sale includes Bogey, JD, or Evol is a lot different than hanging onto Workman, Hembree, and Moreland. That’s not even a logical comparison.
  18. A fire sale should start with Bloom if the team is bad enough for a fire sale.
  19. Some on here have been discussing this before the season even started. Are the Red Sox still charging the highest priced tickets in baseball? I noticed attendance is down, so why bother. If a so called fire sale is done as Michael Felger would say it’s all on the nerds, and clones who run the Red Sox.
  20. Glad to see JBJ doing well. I was against the trade, but he’s always been a favorite player of mine.
  21. The Red Sox are stuck with Sale for better, or worse until his contract is up, and deservedly so since they extended an injured player.
  22. Even if he had pitched a perfect game tonight I would still say he’s the best option as the closer. It’s never been about his ability to start, but the fact they don’t have a reliable closer. I like the Whitlock- Houck combo though.
  23. Good outing by Whitlock tonight.
