The facts are the facts that the Red Sox were either ahead , or tied in the 8th inning, and blew a number of games. Now I’ve already agreed with you that the offense should have scored more runs, but it still doesn’t change the fact that they blew the leads they had. High stress? I think it had more to do with the personnel, and the way Cora handled them.

It’s true the offense was weak early, but it’s also true the bullpen blew saves from the 8th inning on when they did have the lead early in the season, which was a big part in the 10-19 start.

If his philosophy hasn’t changed I don’t think Bloom would be in town. I do agree with you about the contracts though.

The only thing that will handcuff the Red Sox going forward will be JH himself. How many of the 4 titles do think the Red Sox would have won with this JH compared to the JH when he first got to Boston? Why does many on here worry so much how much money he spends, and if he pays a tax, or not. You think JH cares about you with the high ticket prices, or any other prices in, and around Fenway?

That’s your opinion, and I beg to differ. All the expiring contracts, and Raffy, and Bogey being out there in limbo is on Bloom. He’s had 3 years to not have the mess he has to day, and yet here we are a last place team that looks like a three ring circus.

I don’t think getting an actual 1B who could play 1B, or an RHH OF not named Arroyo who could catch the ball, and hit a little that both have been sorely needed needed a blockbuster move.

You keep on going to the fantasy that the Red Sox looked good until the injuries hit. The only time the Red Sox have looked good was going against the NL West when Seattle was playing bad, and the Angels were going through a 15 game losing streak. They started 10-19, and the bottom line is they have beat the bad playing teams, and have lost to the good teams.

Who was drained off the upper farm who would be playing a big roll in Boston today?

As I’ve been saying all along now for months now my main concern is who’s playing on the field at Fenway Park in a Red Sox uniform, and nothing else. I don’t care about who’s on the 40 man roster, or the ranking of the farm system. Casas, and Mayer may turn into good ML players, but until they do I don’t care what they do at Worcester, or any other farm league city. Red Sox record here, and now is what I look at, and care about, and will worry about next year after this season is over. Some like to project the Red Sox 40 man in 2025, and good for you, and some were talking about fire sales before this past season even started, where I could care less. Now it’s get rid of all expiring contracts, and see how many prospects/suspects we can get back. Bottom line the Red Sox are a last place team, and there is plenty of blame to go around, and that starts at the top.

My main point has been all along has been Bloom could have done a better job in replacing Mookie, Beni, and Renfroe. If your’re happy with Bloom, and think he’s a boy wonder then good for you, but i on the other hand am not, and think of Bloom is being more of a Boy Blunder. Different opinions from a different way at looking at things.

Yes I knew it all, but still the bottom line is that the Red Sox are worse off, and the bottom line is Dugy replaced Mookie. Spin all you want, but still the Red Sox are worse off.

11 NBA championships in 13 yrs, but he was hurt in one of those years the Celtics didn’t win, so he really only lost 1 year in the NBA. He should have his #6 retired by the NBA just like Jackie Robinson in baseball.

B L O O M has taken Mookie, Beni, and Renfroe, and turned them into Dugy, Franchy, and JBJ. How has that made the Red Sox better. News Flash! It hasn’t.
