  1. Kike back at SS tonight with Arroyo at 2B.
  2. Yorke 3-5 with a HR, and 5 RBI today.
  3. Like I’ve said more than once lately that if Hamilton hasn’t gotten a chance by now with all the injuries, and problems in the IF he most likely never will.
  4. Outside of Kike being Cora’s favorite son I don’t have an answer. Like I said earlier Chang solidified the position until he got hurt, and he should be back shortly, but why Reyes hasn’t gotten more of a chance especially with the infield being such a problem to me is all on Cora.
  5. It would be nice to see some hitters come alive, but it seems pretty much if the Red Sox don’t score a bunch of runs in 1 inning they don’t score much the rest of the game.
  6. Kike inherited the SS job back in Jan when Story had surgery. Kike was so bad that he finally got taken off SS by his dad (Cora) , and Chang was inserted there, and solidified the the position until he got hurt, and back to SS Kike went except for a few games by Reyes. It’s not just Kike’s D at SS, but his weak bat should keep him out of the lineup too except for an occasional fill in.
  7. Valdez luster has worn off with the bat, and that’s the only reason you would have him in the lineup in the first place. With what is on the 26 right now put Reyes at SS, and Arroyo at 2B. If Arroyo can stay healthy for a few games he can handle 2B
  8. Richards, Kluber, and Rich hill makes the Bargin Bin strategy look bad, and cost about the same as a year of Frail.
  9. The D this year is even worse than last year when you had Franchy Strange Glove at 1B, Duran the Butterfly Man in CF, and Arroyo in RF.
  10. With what SD paid for him the Red Sox will probably spend more money the next 3-4 years on the Rich Hill, Garrett Richards, and Klubers of the world.
  11. I guess Dermody is going tonight. Why no Whitlock I don’t know.
  12. Seems to have a lot of them.
  13. A couple of weeks ago the Red Sox had too many so called starters, and Sale goes out, and they have to use The Kut Man last night as an opener, and tonight it’s TBD. Bloom definitely has the team going in some kind of direction that’s TBD too. What a plan!
  14. Wacha. 6 IP- 2H- Shutout today.
  15. Not that comprehensive. You just can’t go by innings pitched. Not every inning is the same. Example last night Martin pitched just 1 inning, but gave up 4 hits, and threw 25 pitches most of which was stressful. The eye test gives you a lot better comprehensive lay down than just pulling up some stats on a computer. Cora talked about how the BP had been used to much, the Globe talked about how the BP had been used to much, and they talked about it on the NESN pre, and post game, and the broadcast itself.
  16. Kike back at SS tonight.
  17. I don’t understand it with such a good product on the field, and a parade of Yuckers in the booth.
  18. NESN ratings are down too, and that has nothing to do with the weather.
  19. I’ll take it easy on him.
  20. It doesn’t matter one way, or the other how anyone the Red Sox have was acquired, or released, or traded for.
  21. The trade deadline is when Bloom is at his best. Looking for that 3rd option in the fork in the road. That’s when that Yale education comes in handy.
  22. Hats off to Bello last night for lasting through 6 innings. He’s the first pitcher to do that since he did it on May 23.
  23. Chris Murphy has been called up.
  24. Bloom’s Boys of Gloom, and Doom after 60 games. 30-30 Last place in the Div. Only 5 teams ahead of them for the wildcard. Don’t worry, because I heard the team had a team meeting the other day to try, and get things straightened out. I didn’t hear if Tom Werner was there though to led the Let’s Go Red Sox chant. At any rate on to Cleveland, and then NY. Sounds like an easy road trip. Kike with your shoes so bright won’t you lead my team tonight? Then all the posters loved him. As they shouted out with glee. Kike your my hero! You’ll go down in team history. S A L U T E.
  25. Very simple Duvall goes back in CF. The luster has mostly come off Duran, and Kike can’t hit much of anything. Duvall most likely won’t pick up where he left off, so they’ll have to play him for awhile, and see how he does. 2B, and SS is still a cluster. I’m not sure Reyes is a FT SS, and we know Kike isn’t. Arroyo would be alright at 2B, but he can’t stay healthy. Plenty of options, but quantity doesn’t turn out quality.
