  1. In one word. BOHICA!
  2. What do you think would happen first? Cora walks, or is giving his walking papers?
  3. You sure this guy isn’t really 15-3, and a 1.56 ERA?
  4. The Red Sox are as broken as Dugy’s bat.
  5. You mean the Sox aren’t still playing Houston?
  6. I wouldn’t hate the idea if they could get some young top pitching, but I just don’t see Bloom trading someone who has come with such hype, and promise, and is still cheap, and under team control for a few years yet before he starts getting more expensive if he produces.
  7. Probably, but I just don’t see it happening now, and especially with Casas there. Yes I understand neither one is good on D, but I just don’t see it happening next year, and sign Chapman too.
  8. Of course a big question would be what would it take, and for how long to sign him. He’s a Boras guy too.
  9. I Don know how good an OF Teoscar is, but I would take him over the others as a RHB.
  10. Chapman can pick it at 3B, so that would make the infield D better, but he strikes out a ton. I just can’t see the Sox making all those drastic moves.
  11. Dugy, and Bloom had a meeting out on the field after a game the other day, which was reported lasted about 40 minutes. They showed a picture of Dugy standing there with his arm folded. A number of possible ways that meeting could have gone, or been about.
  12. I saw on line a few hours ago. No pitching added?
  13. Duvall won’t come as cheap, or just on a 1 year contract next time. I don’t know who is out there who would be another option, but to lose him, and JT they definitely need another power RHB. You can’t count on Story Land either.
  14. Kut Man, Houck, Whit, and Pivetta are all better in the pen. I think the Red Sox keep trying Whit, and Houck in the rotation is, because they are cheap options.
  15. I’ve been saying that for two years now, and was calling for Jansen last year too.
  16. That was for the season? He had a heck of a start, but a not so great finish, and all I’m saying is not someone I would pencil in as a FT starter.
  17. Agree 100% on this. Duran’s luster had come off before he got hurt.
  18. Nobody knows if Abreu can hit big league pitching either. A veteran RHB I think would be a big need. I keep saying to me either a JT, or Duvall signing would be a good idea.
  19. Rafaela in CF, and Story full time at SS definitely makes the D better, but no one knows if Raf can handle big league pitching yet, and at times Story for that matter. Adding top line pitching I don’t believe is in Bloom’s big bag of surprises.
  20. He played 1 game there whoopy doo doo.
  21. So Raf started at SS. Story needed a day off from all that running around the bases from all his xtra base hits. Gallo is having a hellava year.Dugy has been fine in RF this year, and finally the Red Sox limitations resides in the front office.
  22. Not in Bloom’s way of thinking.
  23. They are not going to sign Matt Chapman. They are not going to move Raffy to 1B. Casas is the 1B. No on the starting rotation. It’s pretty sad, depressing, and a whole lot of incompetence to be talking about next year when we Should be talking about the Red Sox being in the postseason this year. Oh well better luck next year.
  24. No! No on the rotation. Duran had lost a lot of his luster before he got hurt, so no on him, and the Ref Man in LF. Raf, and Abreu are untested, and Dugy is up in the air. The $100M man is a question where he plays too. Take out JT, and Duvall out of this lineup, and it could be very weak. Then another big question is if Story Land will be opened, or closed. Could still be a bad defensive IF too. It would be a contender for something, but I don’t think for the top, and maybe worse than this year. I don’t see any Mookie Betts in the lineup. Where’s he?
  25. Once again wrong in your assessment. I know the difference between gloating, and criticism, but like I said I don’t wave Pom Poms when things are going good, so I get the feeling that to you I have to do that, before I can criticize when things are bad. I don’t have to do that, and I’m not going to do that.
