  1. He has hit plenty of ground balls for infield practice for the opposing teams though.
  2. To do what? He’s better in the pen. I get it that he’s a cheap option for the rotation along with Houck, but both to me would be better in the pen, and I’ve said it for two years now.
  3. So what does that tell you? The O’s, and Rays have better people in charge making the decisions? The Ray’s definitely haven’t missed Bloom.
  4. Yes I’m sure that’s the goal Cora has planned all out.
  5. On Aug 25th you said 84 wins, and Moon said 87 wins for the Sox. Even back then I did not see that happening for the two reasons I stated earlier.
  6. I didn’t, but most on here did. I heard the team was on pace for 84-87 wins, but that pace slowed to a crawl. The pitching was in shambles, and the upcoming schedule was to tough to tame for me to see that even coming close to happening.
  7. I agree the players are the biggest culprits. Where is the leadership, or the so called leaders?
  8. Whose decision was it to put Whit in the rotation? Cora, Bloom, or both?
  9. On Sept 1 the Yankees were 65-69, and the Red Sox were 69-65. At that point the Yankees had nothing to play for, and the Red Sox had a postseason slot still in reach. Look at what’s happened since. The Yankees have gone 15-8, and the Red Sox have gone 7-16. The Yankees are playing to the end, and the Red Sox are not. Not a good look for Cora.
  10. No, but at this point I think most would be glad as hell just to make the postseason.
  11. Sometimes it’s just as simple as a new face, and a difference voice being in charge like it was with Morgan Magic.
  12. I agree that Bloom was way in over his head in Boston.
  13. A good manager is someone who can take his, and beat yours, or take yours, and beat his.
  14. I know you think you know, but obviously you don’t to know that DD would have been a failure. By the way he’s in the postseason AGAIN. On the other hand Bloom was a failure, and I knew it, and said it the day he was hired. It was a disaster to get fid of DD, and replace him with Gloom, and Doom Bloom. AWESOME it wasn’t. Far from it.
  15. 🤮🤮🙈.
  16. Just, because you have money to spend doesn’t mean what you buy will turn the Red Sox into a good team. Mets, and SD are examples of that.
  17. Duh?🙈
  18. Like Sam Kennedy said at the year end press conference last year after a losing last place in the Div team, and out of the postseason that all of baseball ops failed including him. Now it has happened for two years in a row, and all of baseball ops failed again. Clean house, and get an all new house, and the owner too if that’s what it takes. I’ve already heard be careful what you wish for with the owner, but like I answered to that was that the Red Sox did not win in 1967, 1975, 1978, or 1986, because of who the owner was.🙈
  19. I agree. DFA Raffy. They can finish with a losing record in last place with him, or without him.🤭
  20. He thinks anyone who says they wouldn’t have hired Cora back, because of his cheating scandal then that means in his mind that they hate Cora. Amazing that it couldn’t be for any other reason, and has been status quo now for at least two years running. It’s not a gift, but a curse.🙈
  21. Let’s not get carried away just, because ND, and Ohio State were both undefeated. This was not a battle of 2 juggernauts, and neither was one of the two schools better teams from the past. Duke will be a tough game up next.
  22. I believe you are right on both accounts.
  23. The record, and place in the standings speaks for itself. Call it what you want. I expect nothing else from a Bloom guy.
  24. They’ve already named O’Halloran as exec VP of player ops, and Kennedy said he expects Cora to be back as manager, so it doesn’t some like the new person, or persons in charge will be totally in charge.
  25. The Red Sox are 4-14 in their last 18 games when at the start of the stretch the Red Sox were still in the postseason hunt. Bloom got the boot, and Cora needs to go too. If a new Person in charge comes in from the outside they deserve to pick their own manager unlike I believe Bloom was allowed to do. Cora is still living off the coattails of 2018 to some, and 2018 is long gone. Let’s make a clean sweep of baseball ops, or as much as possible.
