  1. You do realize Pipeline ranked the Red Sox 16th, and another ranking had them 14th, but whatever.
  2. My fixation with Bloom? Many have have been fixated with Bloom since he got in Boston, and still are even with him gone. You did see the standings today? That’s the parting gift Bloom have left all of Red Sox Nation. Some don’t like it as well as others.
  3. I don’t know if I would extend Dugy, but I also aren’t counting on Duran, Raf Man, or Abreu at this point either to be good ML players. They need to get someone who they know what he is. Risky to count on all three next year.
  4. Like I keep saying farm rankings are all over the map, so I don’t put much faith in them. Of course you guys always pick the higher ones instead of like Pipeline who has the Red Sox at 16th. Like I’ve always said to me prospects/suspects are useless until they produce in a Red Sox uniform, or are traded for someone who does. Casas, Bello, Raf Man, and Abreu are now producing in a Red Sox uniform, so great. I’ve never been against making the farm rankings better as long as it’s not at the expense of the big league club, and I have stated it before.
  5. I don’t believe Dugy’s value is at an all time high at all, and really just the opposite. Being on his last arb year I don’t think is appealing to any team, and he has really tailed off the second half of the season.
  6. Henry might have finally woken up, and smelled the roses, and didn’t like what what he smelled, and noticed none of the roses were in Bloom, and all had died on the vine.
  7. You gave have a farm ranking in the top 5, but that doesn’t mean that will translate to a winning big league club.
  8. Which is your opinion. We shall see.
  9. Oh those farm rankings that some on here cling to that are all over the map. I’ve seen some rate the Red 5th on here, and some rank the Red Sox 14th, or 16th like Pipeline. The farm system to me does two things, which are supplementing the big league club, or are traded for someone who does. Getting Sale, and Kimbrel were well worth it, and what they gave up most likely wouldn’t have made the team any better if they hadn’t got traded, so good for DD making the trades. DD could have traded Raffy. Now that would have been a bad one.
  10. Kind of goes along with playing people out of positions like Arroyo in RF at Fenway.
  11. You’re the one who’s making a big deal out of it that Bobby D is getting some playing time, and still on the 40 man. NO ONE said that backup 1B is the most difficult, or any kind of priority. All I said was that Bobby D may be the backup 1B next year if JT leaves, and you went on a tangent, and ran with it from there.🙈
  12. And the farm wasn’t emptied.🙈
  13. There goes that emptying the farm thing again. Seems like the Sox have some guys playing now that didn’t get emptied.
  14. I don’t really think he’s 5’8”. I think it’s the high pants he tugs up like waders.
  15. Back up 1B is hardly the most difficult role to fill? The starting 1B was hard to fill last year outside of Franchy. The fact that he’s still on the 40 man says something. What that is I don’t know.
  16. Not so fast on Bobby D. He might not have anymore future with the Red Sox, but then again if JT doesn’t come back next year Bobby D could be the backup 1B. This would not be the ideal time to move Raffy to 1B. If that were to be done ST would be the ideal time to try that. I don’t believe Raffy will be playing 1B any time soon with Casas still there. I know Chapman is your latest wish, but I don’t see that happening either.
  17. And two years in a row at that.
  18. 2-8 in the last ten, which is the worst record in all of MLB.
  19. Pivetta has his ups, and downs every year. Let’s remember why he got taken out of the rotation in the first place. The best thing about him is he shows up every game, and takes his turn, which is a novelty for the Sox.
  20. You trying to compare Bloom with Lawrence not playing in that Clemson game? That’s a big s t r e t c h.
  21. I was more concerned with the slumber in the lumber than what the pitching had given up.
  22. I fully understand that Story isn’t here Without Bloom. My point being it doesn’t matter who signed him now he is the SS just like I said after last season ended that he would be the starting SS in 2023 when a number of posters on here said he should stay at 2B, and the team should go out, and get a SS. The only reason he was at 2B last year was, because of Bogey. If you think they are going to move him off SS now just , because a new front office type is coming in then fine, but I don’t, so we’ll see if I’m right, or not.
  23. It’s Max’s fault with his no name offense.
  24. I agree with your earlier post that at the most Sale shouldn’t be penciled in higher than a 6.
  25. Take away that 12 spot, and that 37 is even not as good as it looks.
