  1. Harry Caray's Steakhouse is cool, at the bar you are below street level but the way the windows are set up all you see are legs walking by on the sidewalk, kinda like Houston's in mid town Manhattan. Great homemade potato chips to have with a cold beer. Wrigleyville has many cool places to barhop before and after the game. I haven't been in a while, but Chicago had some pretty good street festivals on the weekends. Last time I was there I enjoyed the River North Festival, live music, food and drinks.
  2. Why? It's a valid thread. If the sox continue to flounder in the basement chaim is a likely candidate to get fired.
  3. I've never been to GRF, the neighborhood around it is enough to keep me away.
  4. I take the train to Wrigley when I visit.
  5. Wrigley is pretty awesome as is the whole area around it. Can't say the same for the south side.
  6. I'll get back to when your worthless opinion matters to me.........
  7. And if the queen had balls she'd be the king.
  8. And any reliever who blows a save should not ever be in line to claim the win. (IMO)
  9. I do not belong to the apple cult so therefore I don't have any apple products. Unless it's a red delicious......
  10. This is pretty cool. Hitting third and making his first start on the mound at fenway park, Ohtani became the first starting pitcher to bat in one of the top four spots in a game at fenway since Babe Ruth did so on Sept. 20, 1919.
  11. I would say that makes a lot of sense.
  12. But back in the day starters routinely went deeper into games and they certainly weren't in better condition than today's pitchers.
  13. Umm, I said I was from there, not that I live there. Seems to me you know as much about me as you do baseball and 3rd grade spelling, which would be very little.
  14. Nice try, fool. I'm a conservative from Brooklyn, NYC.
  15. The story around the neighborhood was it was really old and toothless.
  16. The way they are hitting lately I would like Ryan or Palmer's odds against them even at their advanced ages.
  17. They are this bad right now and whether they can turn it around remains to be seen.
  18. When did they deal barnes?
  19. Please point out where I said they would win anything with chaim in charge. My comment was in regards to your inability to put coherent sentences together combined with your 3rd grade spelling ability. I'll also go out on a limb here and guess that you had trouble coloring inside the lines in the last book you, ahem, "read"..........
  20. maybe cora told chaim "I have a plan"?
  21. Do you put that on chaim or cora? or maybe both?
  22. When was the last time the sox suffered this bad of a shutout beatdown at home?
  23. Ok, whatever blows your skirt up. He was a heckuva ballplayer though.
  24. How are you, Sweetheart? I've never been banned from here.
  25. Doubleheaders have more of an effect on the bullpens I would think.
