  1. That sounds reasonable. But why is he upset that part 3 was started?
  2. Why, is there a designated time that each phase of the 'realistic' thread should be started?
  3. possibly
  4. Well, considering he only arrived in the fall of 2019 and there was not a 2020 minor league season and we are now only a little over a month into 2022, that's not exactly what I would call a lengthy track record.
  5. If the sox were inclined to lay out the type of money it may take to secure Judge's services, why wouldn't they have spent it on mookie? Or just spend it on xbo?
  6. The difference is that one team has the best record in baseball while the other is in last place. Should the Yankees continue to be in a playoff position it is highly unlikely that they would be sellers at the deadline and jettison Judge. Should the sox continue to flounder in the vicinity of baltimore in the standings, they certainly would be likely sellers at the deadline. That would/could be disheartening to the rest of the team.....
  7. I was speaking about the rest of this season......
  8. Was it his call how fast players moved along in tampa?
  9. Because even though the sox are pretty bad with guys like devers and xbo, they will almost certainly be worse without them. I don't know many people that enjoy being part of a s***** team that is resigned to playing out the string.
  10. Does this mean the "realistic" II thread is done?
  11. Well, maybe it's that those guys are performing for their expected big paydays while the others are disheartened thinking those guys are gone and they have to play out the string.....
  12. That was a better team than this current sox team......
  13. It seems everything changed for him when he developed the cutter
  14. Will you be leading off, batting clean up or pitching the 9th?
  15. Not bad for a guy who was the former 36th-round Yankees draftee who’s been released, DFA’ed and for good measure traded for international pool money.
  16. No s***, and every team goes through it.
  17. I fully expected you to go on one of your "this team can't f***in' hit" rants.......
  18. Nasty Nestor was quite dominant today. Now 2nd in the AL in ERA at 1.41
  19. There's a pretty good chance that correa excercises his opt out though.
  20. But I thought he was chris freakin' sale?
  21. Or it could be a lot of L's as in losses Whitlock Winckowski Walter Wikelman Wallace
  22. I guess, and people are entitled to their opinions
  23. I don't think they finish in last place either. As bad as they are, I just can't see them being worse than the orioles. But if they finish under .500, I think the possibility of chaim getting fired does exist.
  24. So you don't think if the sox finish in last place that he is a candidate to be fired?
