I never said they were great and bringing up titles is nothing more than moving the goalposts. You stated "any team would have a difficult time overcoming the number of injuries that we've had, no matter how well the team is constructed.", I was merely pointing out that it's not entirely true.

I don't think they really bring back much in major league talent. If I were the GM I would rather parlay them into minor leaguers with a higher upside than a major leaguer with a limited upside. It's not like the sox are going anywhere this season anyway. -

I'm not too concerned with losing Wesneski Especially with the 5yrs of control of Effros considering we will be shedding Chapman and Britton this off season.

It's more of a long weekend to see a concert and a quick visit with family for Thanksgiving. Still better than you sitting in the basement screaming upstairs "Mom, the meatloaf!"

Another swing and a miss, Ken. This year I have been to NYC, Philadelphia, the Bahamas, Weeki Watchee Springs, Aruba, Ireland and Key West. I have another trip booked for the Keys in October and maybe a trip to Atlantic City in November. Where have you been this year?

Wouldn't you then subtract hernandez's numbers in the 47 games he played at 2nd in 2021 and arroyo's 2021 HR's (6) and RBI's (25) from story's to get a fairer assessment? Not to mention I believe arroyo also had a 0.00 ERA for the sox last year!

I know the city pretty well having visited numerous times. And the same could be said for many places, that they are safe 90% of the time. Doesn't mean I am going to run out to spend the day in Liberty City or East New York in Brooklyn anytime soon. -

As Chris Cotillo of Mass Live reported, the red sox are having catching prospect ronaldo hernandez to travel with them to houston on the taxi squad. That means he’ll be available to play for the team should a trade go down.
