    While the astros certainly could use a boost at the catcher position, I did read recently that no WS winner has ever made a major catching change via trade mid season.

    I disagree, he is what the back of baseball card says he is, a struggling bullpen arm with a career ERA north of 4.00 and a career WHIP of 1.34

    Trivino is awful. Hate to lose waldichuck and sears but you gotta give to get. Hopefully Montas' shoulder is ok. Cue moon and bellhop cheering that the Yanks "gutted their system" as their team wallows in the cellar and their farm isn't all that exciting.....

    If the sox are going to punt on the season and trade eo, vaz, jd, etc, then I feel it is silly to hang on to xbo unless they are prepared to give him the money he wants.
