  1. From watching this team all year, I'd say the Stros have exploited our weaknesses offensively. And I'm not being sarcastic.
  2. Ok, even though it's now 20-nothing, still put him on.
  3. Same situation as before -- go after Tucker, then walk Gurriel and set up a force anywhere.
  4. Correa says, "This is my elbow."
  5. Holy hit -- and that's it for the Salsa king? Maton has no reason whatsoever to throw a hittable pitch to Devers. There's no way he won't be swinging.
  6. Pinch hitters have struck out every single time for Boston in this postseason.
  7. The only guy who can pinch run for JD or Schwarber just Ked meekly and is now burned. If they were replacing Plawecki with Vazquez, then why not just pinch hit Vaz?
  8. Schwarber answered my own question.
  9. He was great, pitching tough to the best batting order in baseball. Now the guy they're bringing in is named Not Asgood.
  10. Do Astros ever hit into double plays? Or just not vs. Boston?
  11. 0-2 hanger to their worst hitter, leading off. After all the high stress pitches last inning, and now facing the top of the order... it's inevitable now.
  12. It hasn't been that long since the Sox had a hit in the playoffs. It just seems that way.
  13. Anyone who actually throws a strike to Arroyo the rest of the night should be DFAed.
  14. f***ing Great Nate. One bad pitch, but many great ones. We still got ourselves a game. If that doesn't inspire some offense -- and I don't care if it's smallball -- nothing will.
  15. Not with Gurriel on deck. Him I walk.
  16. Don't throw a 3-2 fastball.
  17. O-2 pitch, right where Yordan wants it. That could be the season right there...
  18. But by a team only two wins away from the World Series?
  19. That's the guy fans of DH-deprived teams have been clamoring for to opt out this winter.
  20. Sox luck is about to turn. We just need four straight pop-ups to fall in to tie this thing up.
  21. The first-frame HR by Bogie in Gm 3 was the last hit by a Red Sox batter that meant anything. That was four days ago...
  22. So... one time plus through the lineup and another no-hitter. Perhaps more telling: a bad play gives Astros a run, a good play robs Red Sox of one.
  23. Kicks the ball, throws it wild, and they still get him out. Astros would have the leadoff man on third by now.
