The Brits may not know the rule that games are supposed to go the full 9. I suggest, Cora call it sometime during the second inning and blame it on English breakfast for a teamwide case of the shits. It doesn't take 20-20 eyesight to question whether the Sox are better off playing 2 "home" games in London vs the unfriendly confines of Feway in 2019. Normally a team bulit for Fenway's oddiites have played their way to a muddling , wait for it, 20-20 record . I am just hoping someone reminds the players that it is not an exhibition and the results will count as they make a run at the #2 WC.

Seeing that we are now in Part 11 , it would n't hurt to see the focus shift from its early and we are shoe-ins for at least a WC slot, to actually winning at about a .650 pace, 96-97 wins. Right now the Sox are not #1 nor #2 for the slot and the blown game by Barnes vs CWS just put a stink cloud over the start of the second 81 games. I don't think dropping 2 in London to the Bombers would help clear the air. Taking two could be something sweet for a reset . BTW, when does the new reliever show up ??
