  1. I give Barnes an over/under of 23 pitches to get 3 outs in the 9th
  2. Who has 6 outs in their arm(s) today to get the win for Erod?? Who will relax with O and Barnes waiting out there?
  3. Erod's motion and finish is not sharp, looks tired
  4. Maybe play the lines at 1B/3B like it was the ninth inning in a close game, which it now is
  5. JBJr anyone ???
  6. Sawamura doesn't screw around. Should have had a called strike on the first pitch too
  7. 3-0 to 3-2 on 2 soft pitches, then throws by Semien's head for the walk when a low breaking ball would have whiffed him.
  8. Got the .170 hitting Tellez on a soft liner to RF, lol . I don't know the exit speed but it looked ripped pretty good
  9. I think you only need to watch Richard's flailing motion to the plate to figure out why he has limited control and effectiveness. The fact that he got through the 3rd/4th without more damage is remarkable
  10. 88 pitches through , 6 innings with 73% strikes is MLB pitching by Erod. 2 hits , a run, a walk. That is shutdown pitching. So glad to see him on the mound and working out so well after the heart and recently arm scare
  11. Brice has nothing , just keeps digging the hole deeper
  12. The defense is totally offensive
  13. I don't know for sure if that Kike's ball or Verdugo's but neither of them helped on a catchable ball, allowing a run to score. Normally that would be the Cf'er coming in hard
  14. Kopech throwing some prime cut strikes that are not being hit
  15. Kopech's pony tail is more like a small stuffed animal tail
  16. Once again the multi-year trend of Sox pitchers coming out to the mound, not quite ready for the first inning
  17. My old mantra, let a reliever climb over 20 pitches and stuff starts to happen
  18. Which th3ey should, one of the worst aspects of late innings. Tee it up and hit it
  19. My man Matt Barnes starting to show up tonight. Still doesn't have a go-to pitch for tough outs
  20. Bogey got 2 runs on a near Pesky shot
  21. JD showed some patience and got the run, but I thought he would hit one of the low outside outside pitches off the Pesky Pole
  22. Not quite 3 RUN HR but it had butts eating seat cushions
  23. 26 pitches in the first. Enough for two innings of shutout pitching.
