  1. Ruiz threw as many pitches to get 2 outs as Pivetta has for his 9 outs.
  2. Ol' Lead Thighs chug-a-lugged home on a shallow fly
  3. I'm only concerned that Chaim may want to trade for Jose Ruiz, a cheap reliever tonight
  4. Devers is not too bad of a hitter. He will get paid, only question is by who.
  5. Ss will hate this but that 9 outs ( 3innings) on 29 pitches. Hope AC doesn't pull him at 4 2/3rds.
  6. Guys are swinging the bats and hustling too, (JBJr). Verdugo is the only one stuck in place with an OPS at .569 and K'ing more often.
  7. Kind of like his glove, LOL
  8. Question from a friend. Did Franchy need to do anything more than to touch first base for the win to be secured ? Why run the bases, except as a stat pad?
  9. I think Vaz actually snuck his foot in first regardless of the ball. The tag was late
  10. Let's hope now that Devers can win it , so no need for any BP'er
  11. How do you now score Dalbec from 3rd ? There's 13 possibilities
  12. Waste of a game if they don't now comeback, but first Diekman needs to finish the 10th
  13. If JBJr keeps going to leftside, he will continue to have some success. Dalbec won't touch Seward
  14. Tough luck Franchy
  15. This one will still be won by Boston , but go back to both the lineup that was fielded and their ability to score , compounded by using a career loser as a closer.
  16. Get a f'ing closer. Hansel never was.
  17. Story getting way better on D as well as at home.
  18. 3 guys in the .500+ OPS range but 2 others at .490 and .373 . No names needed. Most OBP's in the mid .200's.
  19. Still amazing, even with the 4 game streak and today's potential W that there are 5 batters for the Sox under.200
  20. What a stupid assessment of Arroyo's abilities
  21. Still think the Sox (Cora) needs to rethink Pops Hernandez at leadoff, at least until he can get his OBP up to around .300 (currently high .250's) . Maybe even Story for awhile, despite his K ratio.
  22. Arroyo DH'ing for JDM's bad back should make anyone's sciatica flare up.
  23. Nate does have something to prove today. A rebound, earn a win and hold the M's to 4 or less big flies. I think he will get ALL 3
  24. That will occur after the May 31st game.
  25. If the Sox can go 7-3 in the next 10 games , they will reach the .500 plateau on the evening of May 31. Given the opponent list for these next 10; Mariners today, White Sox for 3, 5 games with the O's and then the Reds on the 31st, no reason the Red Sox can't get back to level , ready for June. All but the WS games are at Fenway also.
