Still think the Sox (Cora) needs to rethink Pops Hernandez at leadoff, at least until he can get his OBP up to around .300 (currently high .250's) . Maybe even Story for awhile, despite his K ratio.

If the Sox can go 7-3 in the next 10 games , they will reach the .500 plateau on the evening of May 31. Given the opponent list for these next 10; Mariners today, White Sox for 3, 5 games with the O's and then the Reds on the 31st, no reason the Red Sox can't get back to level , ready for June. All but the WS games are at Fenway also.

Yes, once Seattle had the first four, then 5, the door was shut by the BP resulting in a key win. Mariners cannot win this series.
