Had Alan Porter not blocked the pitch in the dirt or if Arroyo had broken for second and continued , the game would not still be tied. And if JDM could buy a hit, everything would be nice
Diekman does what any pitching coach/manager should issues fine for--walk the leadoff hitter . Unless you are a great groundball pitcher and love DP's by your infielders, then it's ok
While it is a personal choice , it should be mitigated by a sense of helping the team and being a guy trying to get a regular job . Speaking of Duran, not Kutter so much.
