  1. Diekman had no idea he was to cover the plate on his WP
  2. Cora hanging like a monkey on the dugout rail. he will regret leaving buttwipe out there on the hill
  3. I suspect Robles is somewhat intellectually deficient as well as a horsecrap thrower. You really cannot leave him in now
  4. Well, the good news is that we might get to see if Tanner Houck survived his time off , assuming they can now get out of the 6th
  5. Robles looks so good until he faces the #9 hitter , BA of .192 , who works him over for a walk. Like Danish the performance is just so inconsistent. He had 2 outs on 5 pitches
  6. Whichever of the two chose or waved to go that was a real mistake to get the third out in front of Devers
  7. Vaz for all his running by mid game has heavy thighs. Does he realize that the next hitter who would have been up with the bases loaded was a young guy named Devers ? Or maybe Feckless Febles sent him because of his "early" speed.
  8. Refsnyder shows the patience of a veteran hitter to work that walk and runs Hughes pitch count up to 17
  9. You might say the #3/#4 hitters are taking Jack off, the hook
  10. Franchy shows great discipline and eye until it matters, then just swing at any old crap
  11. After this hot mess ends the Sox hitters need to wake up again
  12. You knew that Danish would come in throwing s***** curve balls, and starting with a walk. This is the primary complaint about relievers who can't throw strikes
  13. I was laughing to myself when Hill started the 5th with a 4-0 lead that Cora might pull him with two outs to cost him the win. Certainly hope he is not injured .
  14. Whatever the real solution at first base is , Cordero is rendering Dalbec less and less relevant . In fact, with Hernandez coming back soon (?) , Dalbec may be the odd man out. Or Arroyo , unless Bloom has some trade ideas to move those guys .
  15. Actually need to root for JB to do well, because he will be in Ft. Myers next ST . X and JDM are not likely to be there.
  16. Difficult game when you can't even rag on JBK's K's because he got the 3 run double to spread the lead. All note that in Vaz's contract year, he scored from first on a double in a relatively small field
  17. Hill pretty efficient through 3 innings at 44 pitches, despite 2 @ 2 out walks on 3-2 pitches . That gives D-money palpitations in the coronary artery
  18. Sox hitters figure they have enough runs, so it's up to Hill to hold the Cubbies to 3 runs or less.
  19. They truly fell apart after 2016 , but perhaps we have seen that ocurrence in recent decades after the 4 World series wins. It can happen
  20. Why does anyone question JBK's ability ?
  21. Just watch the new "book" on JDM, coming inside. Now this time it was up a little and he hit a nice single to left.
  22. The first of many HR's today from Duran who could not help his team in Toronto
  23. There basically is no need to start JBJr ( aka JBK). He is better used being available off the bench as a PR or late inning defense. Maybe Cora thinks with Rich Hill on the mound he needs more speed to chase the long flyballs, but in Wrigley, they are soon HR's, not wall balls. Refsnyder has shown good ability to ignite a rally or keep the line moving and can deliver the HR on occasion. Now as for JDM, if Wrigley cannot help him bust his slump, then he's not helping and may need to sit one out to study his videos. They are jamming you inside JD, no longer using t5he low and away slider approach. Free advice.
