    I'll give you that assessment. The guess was that Dalbec would continue improving his hitting abilities, and Cordero could platoon with him. The OF had 4 guys if you count Hernandez, JBJr, Verdugo, and some flex with Refsnyder in Wooland, Cordero also able to stand in the OF, and Duran working in Worcester.

    Having done that, you are correct but it is extremely rare at this level , and it is 8:30PM in Boston.

    I will take Bloom and Cora off my personal hook for the pitching. Get serious, who could have overcome Hill, Whitlock, Eovaldi, Wacha on the IL simultaneously? Pivetta is a #4 at best. They were a marginal rotation to begin with. Then Chris Frail takes MONTHS to get even close to ready ( FEB-JULY). Paxton was not expected to be ready . Josh Taylor misses half the season. The real question is that with 60% of the WooSox lineup pitching for Boston, who is pitching for Worcester ? Add Barnes continued implosion , Danish on the IL ( no big deal), and Robles turning into a sick dog, you try managing this bunch

    On a night where the Sox BP could have been helped by 5 or 6 innings this pitcher has really screwed them up. How do you let him go back out, except to concede they have lost this one in the top of the first ?

    Wishing Seabold fair HP Ump calls and a great defense behind him, but this game is almost not fair, with Connor as a call up rookie with some bad stats in a small sample

    I'd bet against this one being a 1 run game. I was planning on these 14 key AL East games going 7-7 but am now forced to recalc at 6-8 . The three WC slots will still be in the East but will become very tight and Sox will likely slip to #2.

    Maybe Boston could afford a few MLB balls over in Worcester for the guys who may make the trip to Fenway to throw their bullpen sessions with, allowing a higher degree of readiness when the day comes. They could also hire thousands of extras to fill the stands on an off night and make noise to get them more ready.

    So the dumbass went to LA where he pays higher taxes. In fact, for people of Mookie's income level, the effective federal, state, local income tax levels are about 59% of AGI. Then you have sales taxes, gas taxes etc. among the highest in the USA.
