  1. The extremely short RS AB's tonight make it seem like a long interview. It was worthwhile though to know there is an intelligent person inside that big bopper. Really was hoping he would be back June 21, but I bet it's more like after A-S break.
  2. Kind of a sad coincidence that Bogaerts injured his shoulder , while playing 2B, in a similar manner to Story, diving for a ground ball. Injury not as serious as Trevor's but still debilitating
  3. Try Jackie Robinson #42 , kind of an honorary in many , if not all parks
  4. His problem is not lack of talent, but rather the inability to grow into a mature professional. A turd in the clubhouse and any manager's office.
  5. You mean the same #26 in red on the RF parapet ? What player has his # on more than one team's honor wall?
  6. Not much doubt in my mind that Duran misplayed a catchable ball off Soto. So what if the ball hit the wall above him, it's a double either way. Damn, I dislike Bello
  7. Bello is a fraud and Verdugo is still a jackass-hole
  8. Great 2 games and series win, very unexpected against the Filet's pitching. Goes back to something noticed last year and in April. When the bottom of the lineup, 6-9, who went 6-13 ,can contribute a few hits, this team will score and win. No doubt O'Neill's 3 run blast was a backbreaker for the Fils . I would certainly shop O'Neill near the deadline and see what he brings. Now on to the Yankees , another big test. Take the first one behind Bello and see what happens.
  9. Trashed Nola in 3.2 innings, still have Devers and Yoshi on base. Another bomb against the top NL team would be nice. Last night's comeback and tonight's show vs Nola will give Breslow pause thinking about a sale event in late July, if not sooner. The only thing better than these two games would be if we repeat them vs the Yankees
  10. Typical Devers, a stat pad hit with no one on in a 8-3 game. Just love to irritate people with that. Sorry, Moon, didn't realize you were watching this board
  11. It has been awhile ( May 19) but O'Neill muscled up and launched one. Good for him and the team
  12. Houck losses his stuff, high pitch count, and nearly surrenders the lead. Do they not know Schwarber can hit?
  13. Hamilton having issues in the field tonight. Should not even be at SS, preferably 2B. Put that other guy at SS..., oh wait, there is no other guy except Rafaela and he needs to be in CF.
  14. Nevers and Yoshida should be embarrassed . Bouncing Balls for everyone
  15. What happened to Double Duran's rest days, AC ? You can't win without this guy. That was a key hit with 2 in scoring position
  16. Hammie and Dom Smith, all is forgiven. You too , Valdez. You guys are the best. Now knock Nola out and win this one for Tanner
  17. Hamilton's failure to take the BB , or otherwise move Double Duran to 3rd cost the Sox a run off Nola. Nevers sealed the deal with a DP grounder when it would have been important to get a hit.
  18. Valdez and Hamilton still having trouble making routine plays. Schwarber is luckier than a dog with 2 .....
  19. After yesterday's Houdini like escape from the Phillies, what miracles can be wrought today. It would be great to get a few early runs off Nola to let Tanner know he doesn't have to be perfect, just really good
  20. How about parking ? Buses too, don't forget, helo landing pad.
  21. A truly great win to get to .500 against a tough team. I, too, hope they can convert Kenley into trade value in about a month. His 9th was too typical, and they will not sign him again
  22. You're drunk now that the beat the Phillies, it is OPS you mean
  23. 3 outs to go. I assume we see Kenley for a heartstopping 9th
  24. Wong, overall is a good hitter this year, but you can still make him look foolish, two ways . Trying to bunt and chasing very wide sweepers. His job was to move the runners over
