Just turned on the game. The Red Sox have a chance to finally get to .500 and they trot out a clown named Josh Smith. Wow! What pitching depth.

Chavis is due to hit a home run.

Probably would have been different if Devers makes a routine play to make it two outs and no one on. The error gave the White Sox life. Still no excuse for the homer.

They are going to have to start pulling Devers in the late innings for a defensive replacement.

There goes a chance for a 4 game winning streak. Terrible error by Devers and Braiser lets a .176 hitter take him deep. Wow! No magic this year.

Devers can make some great plays and then look terrible. He is a work in progress. Hope it doesn't cost them this game.

Its cold and the White Sox have been bad for years. MLB tickets are expensive. Hard to draw fans with that combination. Mostly Boston fans there tonight.

If you read the post, I never said that. They will get 4 or 5 players for Mookie if they trade him. The money they will have to spend will come from Porcello and Fat Panda. They would be stupid to let Betts walk and get only a draft pick for him. -

How much would you pay Mookie? If he doesn't want to sign with the Red Sox, I can see him being traded by Aug.1st if the Sox are out of it. I'd make sure to keep J.D. if that happened, and then get some bullpen help. With Porcello and Fat Panda's money free next year they should be able to spend a little. -

DD has got to get rid of some of this dead weight in the BP. Brewer, Hembree, Poyner, Johnson. They all suck. Workman isn't much better. He could go too. DFA the lot of them!

At least the Celtics are playing well tonight at Indiana. Hayward looks like he is finally back to being the player he was before the injury. Next year he will be a superstar again.
