    Hopefully, Ryan Weber has thrown his last pitch for the Red Sox. He is not a major league pitcher.

    I don't really care about this season so I hope they trade anybody for something that improves the team going forward. This year is an anomaly. Short season, no fans, no enthusiasm. Don't trade Devers, Bogie, Verdugo, J.D., Casas, Groome, Downs, Vazquez or E-Rod. Everyone else on current roster is fair game.

    That is a "what if the sky fell" trade. Not happening. He is untouchable. That is a guy you try to lock up for 10 years.

    NL will definitely keep the DH.

    I would also hang on to Eovaldi. They have to have some starting pitching. If he can stay healthy he is a legitimate #2 or #3 starter. Plus, he likes Boston and can handle it. I like J.D. and hope they keep him and I hope he doesn't opt out. I would only trade him this season if he indicates he is opting out.

    If the season makes it to August 31st, who do the Red Sox try to trade? J.D.? I would offer him a couple million more on his last two seasons with no opt outs. If he turns it down, trade him. JBJ: Trade him. Bennintendi: Won't get much if he isn't hitting. He's cheap now. Keep him and hope he figures it out. Barnes: Trade him Workman: Trade him Moreland: Trade him Only untouchables are Bogie, Devers and E-Rod.

    Thank you Captain Obvious. Too bad the season won't get completed. The Yankees actually have a chance this year.

    Manfred wants it to continue. They Yankees and Cubs are doing good. It has to continue.

    A lot of them may not have done enough during the shut down to stay in shape. Pitchers get hurt a lot during a normal season too. Everything is magnified now. I hope they make it until at least August 31st for Sox sake. It will make a huge difference for next year's team.

    My son worked for an Independent League team for 2 years. I went to quite a few games. Weber is not better than most of the pitchers I saw there.

    Braiser sucks. Barnes sucks. The bullpen sucks.

    I have to admit that after watching a couple of exhibition games on MLB, it wasn't that bad. The piped in fan noise was ok. I will watch it. I will watch hockey. I am done with the NBA. Jury is still out on watching the NFL but fantasy league will probably keep me watching. Not during National Anthem though.
