  1. There were a lot of 'killers' in this game.
  2. If he was automatic, wouldn't that make him a cyborg?
  3. And he leads the team in stolen bases.
  4. Great start wasted. Obviously, wasn't the SOX night. Rays are a well-balanced team and I certainly hope they don't obtain Scherzer.
  5. Before I forget. Pivetta's stuff tonight can be described by a word I've very seldom used for SOX starters. NASTY!
  6. More than likely. Base running is something else the SOX aren't dazzling at.
  7. Now that the Rays got a hit, the last time the SOX had a combined no-hitter was a game started by Babe Ruth. He walked the first batter and then got ejected. A pitcher named Shore came in and finished the no-hitter. This info courtesy of the Rays' announcer.
  8. Mausoleums don't usually have chairs.
  9. Nice play, VAZ. Chair and all.
  10. C'mon, MAX. You don't have to defend Cora all the time. He's not god; at least I don't think he is. Is there like a Cora Cult out there?
  11. Great point. I'm a firm believer that excessive weight room usage causes more injuries.
  12. True, it actually means 'babying.'
  13. My fault; I told Dugo to cut back on his weight room visits.
  14. Maybe modern players are.
  15. No. Coddling is treating the players as if they're made of porcelain.
  16. Maybe with your pitcher throwing a no-no, a manager might want to put a better defenseman at 1st base? Looks like Cora forgot Marwin's on the team.
  17. Memories of Bill Buckner. No sweat, MC will homer to make up for it. Sometimes I actually believe my own shite.
  18. The angle I saw had Renfroe being tagged in the stomach after his hand touched home. But it doesn't matter. The play's over; now I want to see the HP chUMP hit by a foul ball.
  19. I do agree that Renfroe did just about everything wrong running to home.
  20. His left hand touched HP before he was tagged. Disgraceful call.
  21. He was safe. F'ing chUMPS!
  22. No question, Renfroe was Bloom's best non-pitching pick-up during the off-season.
