  1. They're 33-38, so they're definitely not as bad as some other teams in MLB. Heck, they took 2 games from the best road team in baseball.
  2. Rios's slider looked good tonight. I just don't know how long the SOX BP can continue to clean up the mess caused by the starters. Only time will tell.
  3. Not counting Andriese, and we really shouldn't, the SOX BP was very good again.
  4. Actually, Richards pretty much put it out of reach. Andriese, as usual, put the 2nd bullet in the SOX head to make sure they were dead.
  5. The SOX farm system is ranked 25th in MLB. Not sure there's much help down there at this time. That being said, I'd rather see Cordova up here than Santana. Hell, I'd rather have Stevie Wonder up here than Santana.
  6. Over 2 million reasons. A lot more reasons than when they DFA'd Weber.
  7. One thing Andriese and Santana have in common; they're both consistent.
  8. "It's only love and that is all."
  9. My Andriese prediction was spot on. That's very rare.
  10. Max, I definitely agree about Richards cheating, but Santana is not intentionally playing poorly. He just sucks and Cora is the reason he's even in the line-up. I guess Cora just wants Santana to love him also.
  11. I'm not getting the SOX feed for this series so does anyone here know how Remy is doing?
  12. He's definitely a 'wander.' Or is that 'wonder?'
  13. "Let me take you down cause I'm going to anyway. Strawberry milk forever."
  14. The Rays were due for a win and Richards was due for a bad game. Only half of that sentence is true.
  15. Funny that his name doesn't end in a 'K.'
  16. Maybe the SOX could stretch 4 of their relievers and replace them with 4 of their starters. Just a desperate thought.
  17. That was another sad at bat, but that's fixable. How do we fix 4 starters? I'm giving EO a pass because he would be a good #3.
  18. I'm guessing we'll see Andriese in this game. No reason not to.
  19. Tampa signed Hill for one year at 2.55 million dollars. Pretty good bang for the buck.
  20. The SOX have an offensive handicap that their opposition does not have. The SOX handicap is that they do not get to bat against their own starters.
  21. I wouldn't call it pitching; pitching requires skill. Throwing would be the more accurate verb.
  22. The SOX may have had a starting staff as bad as this, but I'm pretty sure no 1st place SOX starting staff was as bad as this.
  23. In the words of Tonto: "What you mean we, white man?"
  24. No matter how much Santana sucks, the SOX main problem is still starting pitching. Thank you, Capt Obvious.
