  1. I believe that one run the SOX scored raised deGrom's ERA for the season.
  2. deGrom also runs quite fast. I want an investigation. Make deGrom take that "I'm not a robot test' on the internet.
  3. EO and E-ROD have that capability. Imho, the other 3 are still question marks.
  4. It's a one run game; the Mets' manager should PH for deGrom. Please.
  5. Don't want to be Debbie Downer, but pitching well against the Mets shouldn't get our hopes too high. Hell, the only reason the Mets' players bring a bat to the plate is because it's a league rule.
  6. Man on 2nd with 2 outs against deGrom, imho, isn't much of a scoring opportunity.
  7. Even though it's the Mets, better safe than sorry. Take him out after 5.
  8. 2 very good reasons deGrom should come to the SOX. 1) he'd have more runs to work with and 2) the SOX wouldn't have to face him.
  9. When there's only 3 umps, maybe MLB should allow more video replays.
  10. Hope Layne is alright, but he was heard to say "It's a miracle; I can see!"
  11. Actually, I enjoy the putz getting upset. Btw, the best HP umpiring I may have ever seen was by a guy named Leslie Neilsen.
  12. Darling was also mocking Pivetta's swing. Just be happy those of you in NESN land that you have ECK and Remy. There's much worse.
  13. Effective at-bat by Pivetta. I'm getting the Mets' feed and Darling(putz) is getting awfully upset with HP chUMP.
  14. He should check the Mets' BA's; maybe that will inspire him to throw more strikes.
  15. Marwin may not be a good hitter, but he's smooth as butter on defense.
  16. deGrom would still be amazing if he pitched in the AL; just not as amazing.
  17. Walking a Mets' batter is about as smart as throwing underhand to the SOX.
  18. Because most of the time he doesn't get a hit; much like the rest of their line-up.
  19. Curt Flood used to torment Gibby by telling him when the Cards scored the 1st run "there's your run, Gibby; don't blow it." I loved Pedro, but Gibson was the best RH pitcher I ever saw.
  20. I can envision deGrom finishing the season with an ERA under 2 and still losing 9 games. That's how anemic the Mets' offense is. Bob Gibson had those two stats in 1968, because the Cards couldn't hit their weight.
