  1. I get a kick out of how the self-righteous Yankem fans are booing the hell out of the Astros. They must have forgotten that their clean-cut Yankems abused steroids more than any other team during that period in baseball.
  2. I thought 'whining' was something like blaming the ump or blaming the weather or whatever; I don't think whining is pointing out weaknesses on the team one roots for.
  3. I believe Richards has a better shot of having a very good year than Pivetta, but being a SOX fan, I hope they both have very good seasons.
  4. I love the SOX. so I'm definitely hoping everything you've just posted becomes a reality. GO SOX!
  5. Except the SOX have played less than 20% of the schedule and the BRUINS have clinched a PO spot. I'm not saying the BRUINS are gonna win the Cup; I'm just saying they have the best chance of a championship compared to the SOX and Celtics.
  6. Forgot one. The BRUINS aren't the only team in Boston that have a chance of undocking the ducks.
  7. Yup, you're right. Detroit isn't terrible. Pivetta is better than a #5. Dalbec is a threat against RH pitching. The BP gives us all confidence except a couple of guys. How could I be so wrong?
  8. Pivetta proved that at best he is a number 5 starter and a BP killer. He appears to have 2 pitches, neither of which he can control in the strike zone. The BP is rapidly achieving, with the exception of a couple guys, OINK OINK status. Reporting on this game late because I watched the BRUINS earlier. Btw, the BRUINS are the only team in Boston that has any chance of getting the duck boats out of dock. Almost forgot, the Tigers are a terrible team. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
  9. When Devers returns and Marwin can play 1st base, there's no sane reason to see Dalbec starting with RH pitching. He's overmatched and that's being kind.
  10. Please don't mention Cabrera and A-Roid in the same post. It's an insult to Cabrera.
  11. Much like the other 3 major sports teams in Detroit the Tigers are not very good.
  12. Disappointed that Devers is not playing tonight. He's the batter I most look forward to seeing.
  13. On a positive note I do like what I've been seeing of Richards. Nothing wrong with him physically and he has very good stuff. Get his control problem fixed and he could become the top starter on this team.
  14. Unless are 2-5 hitters have career years, I'm guessing the SOX will linger around .500.
  15. And just like a bad penny look who shows up.
  16. This BP combined with 5 inning starts just isn't going to work.
  17. Love that throw by Cordero. Thank god he can hit. Er, what's that? Nevermind.
  18. Please score this guy from 2nd because if he reaches 3rd, he will die there.
  19. Well, at least he can bunt.
  20. Viewing some of the scores today, it appears the seams aren't high enough.
  21. 3rd base where SOX baserunners go to die.
  22. Hell, the SOX can't score against this chump; I doubt they score against Kluber.
  23. SOX definitely do not have a valid lead-off hitter.
