  1. Excellent point. I'd forgotten that Duran was available. It appears so did Cora.
  2. I was being sarcastic. The SOX tonight have made worms an endangered species.
  3. My bad. I shouldn't have said 'weak sac fly.' One of the few balls hit that actually went in the air.
  4. Nice slide by Dugo on weak sac fly. Like pulling teeth.
  5. Glad Wade was wearing an outfielder's glove.
  6. The Rays offense doesn't have the garish numbers the SOX do, but what their offense does have is timely hitting. Good pitching, good defense, just an excellently balanced team. And now they have Cruz. Not Ted, but Nelson.
  7. Better than DalbeK. And going to a contender might just get his bat going. He's a great defensive 1st baseman.
  8. Wonder how long before Renfroe heats up again? Hopefully before September.
  9. Sal Romano? Sounds like he should own a car dealership.
  10. He has 4 pitches and isn't afraid to throw any of them.
  11. Arroyo is a walking injury about to happen. He can't be counted on. Go get Rizzo.
  12. The SOX BP continues to be the biggest positive on this team.
  13. VAZ has more passed balls than the Celtics.
  14. Is there a team in MLB that swings at more bad pitches than the SOX? Probably why the SOX are near the bottom in walks. It truly is amazing, with so many negatives, that this team is where they are right now.
  15. If that's the case, because I didn't see him flinch on any swings tonight, but if he is playing with a bum wrist, then he shouldn't be playing.
  16. Definitely impressed with Houck. I just hope he has a 'rubber' arm, because, like Sale, he flings mostly with his arm, with little help from his body.
  17. Well, Bogey, who's been in a minor slump, just happened to hit an atom ball. That's what usually happens when one is in a slump.
  18. If this game does re-start at 9:40, I wonder if Montgomery will continue. If it's more than 45 minutes, the pitcher is usually pulled.
  19. Montgomery's OPS against is .555 with no runners in scoring position. One of the lowest in the league. However, his OPS against with RISP is .855, one of the highest in the league. Make of that what you will.
