  1. Last SOX victory at Yankem sandbox was 6/02/19.
  2. I'm convinced from watching a lot of games this year that the 1st and 6th innings are the toughest for starting pitchers.
  3. How many times have we said that this year about SOX pitchers?
  4. Thank goodness Cortes didn't start the game.
  5. It's a marathon full of up's and down's. The good teams have more up's. Thank you, Capt. Obvious.
  6. I can see that. The first 5 years of SNL, imho, were the best.
  7. In hockey players sometimes get hurt warming up; usually they slip and hit their head on the ice or they're hit by a wayward puck. But, then, hockey and baseball have very little in common.
  8. Hell, don't let these guys warm up if they're gonna get hurt.
  9. Asking for two innings from SAW is a big gamble.
  10. That was a great defensive play by Lamahieu, but I would rate Devers' play at 3rd higher on the web gem scale.
  11. Sawamura is Japanese for 'hope for the best.'
  12. Verdugo's hit the ball well tonight. He's a damn good hitter, who's only going to get better.
  13. Good job by EO. 4th straight QS by SOX pitchers.
  14. Yankems are lucky they won't face the SOX #4 and #5 starters in this series.
  15. Figures. Marwin finally drives in some runs and then he shites in his glove.
  16. Having Marwin bat ahead of VAZ was good for two runs.
