  1. Moon has called this season so far 'magical.' I think a more appropriate description would be 'Twilight Zoney.' With some major weak parts on this team and that they're in 1st place, yup, this is The Twilight Zone.
  2. 33 comeback wins so far and this is your post? 33 comeback wins because the SOX have one of the worst starting staffs in MLB.
  3. His hitting, or lack of, is much worse than his defense this year.
  4. It was a strike and the pane of glass thingy was a different pitch.
  5. Why the hell was Richards even starting the 5th? C'mon, Cora, don't expect the SOX to comeback every game. That's not sustainable. 'Sustainable' is a catchy word.
  6. Ray's a good pitcher. The SOX, unfortunately, don't get to bat against Richards, Pivetta and Perez.
  7. You love to fault VAZ, but Richards sux no matter if Varitek was catching him.
  8. Bloom, the SOX need a starting pitcher. And they need it yesterday.
  9. F'ingchavis. That's one word.
  10. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have someone warming in the pen.
  11. Might be cutting it close.
  12. The more MC plays the more his value plummets in a trade.
  13. It's a snail pace, but with the snail caught in an oil slick.
  14. No worries, the SOX will put up a crooked number in the 8th. Er, what's that? Nevermind.
  15. How about "Have Gun, Will Travel?"
  16. Good news: The Rays lost. Bad news: The Yankems won.
  17. When I think of the 'long term', I think of the 86 years between championships. The SOX have a good shot to win it all this year, but not w/o adding a very good starter. In addition to Sale. Let the future take care of itself.
  18. Scherzer has the power of approving what team the Nats attempt to trade him to. Like I posted earlier, he's definitely hinted he wants to play for a west coast team that's contending. Dodgers or Padres might be more appealing to him than Tampa. But, who knows.
  19. If the Rays acquire Scherzer, along with Glasnow coming back, that team will be a bear in the PO's.
  20. If the whole purpose of playing 162 games is to win the WS, how is it a terrible strategy to get players at the trade deadline that helps this to happen? Btw, do you know the definition of prospect? It's a player who has proven nothing.
  21. The Astros improved their team after just acquiring Seattle's very good closer Graveman. Reports are that the Mariners' clubhouse is not very happy with the trade.
