  1. The way he hasn't been hitting of late, I'd be miserable also.
  2. Chapman is still the closer for the Yankems.
  3. I certainly hope JD finishes the season strong, but, whether he does or not, I'd prefer he's not on the team next season.
  4. The great pitchers of olden times made a career of high inside pitches. Changes the whole complexion of the at-bat.
  5. Even triples don't have to be hit very hard.
  6. Not a doctor but I believe I read an article that said while muscles gain mass, tendons don't.
  7. Devers is the last guy on the team we need to see injured.
  8. It appears Bobby Dee peaked very early in his career.
  9. Fragile Arroyo has left SOX with limited options.
  10. Starting staff next season? EO,Whitlock, Houck, Sale and ?
  11. Not as overtaxed as I am living in NY state.
  12. Why not? These new f'ing rules have already made a joke of the game. Another one isn't going to hurt.
  13. Renfroe has overachieved offensively so far this year. That's a good thing for the SOX.
  14. No more Chavis and much more Duran. That was special. I thought he might lap Plawecki on the basepath.
  15. That was a ball, but what the hell are balls and strikes anymore?
  16. That appears all for Houck. Nice 4 innings. Based on his mechanics, I just hope he has a rubber arm. Hopefully, he can add a change-up to his pitches.
  17. That's very possible. I assume his other out will be a pop-up.
  18. I hate them also. The last rule change f'ing MLB(the AL, anyway) made that I actually liked was the DH.
  19. So, when the Yankems were leading 4-0 after 7 on Sunday, would you have been delighted that it wasn't a 9 inning game?
  20. I agree. I've heard them all with this Extra Innings package. I've actually posted those very same words of how fortunate the fans are who get most games on NESN.
  21. VAZ handles EO very well, but that could be because EO is the SOX only quality starter.
  22. I like Remy; I loved him as a ballplayer and I like him in the booth. ECK is the guy in the booth who may have overstayed his welcome. How many times can one say 'cheese?'
  23. It's kind of confusing who Cora 'rests' and who he doesn't 'rest.' Catching is the most taxing position for an everyday player.
