    Congrats to Miggy for his 3000th hit. He now joins 6 others who have 3000 hits and 500 HR's. Unfortunately, one of the 6 is like a turd in a punchbowl.

    Cant help but believe that Devers' past history of less than stellar defense will probably affect his dWAR from now into the future. He's been playing excellent defense since the season started.

    The reason Whitlock wasn't available to close tonight is because he's scheduled to start tomorrow's game starting at 6:10PM ET. I'm probably the only one here who didn't know that.

    JH spent a ton of money to allow the SOX to win 4 championships. Those days are ovah. I believe the SOX will follow the philosophy of the RAYS from here on out. IOW, a rich franchise will operate like a poor one.

    He was good during the end of last season also. And yes, a damn good signing. For the most part the SOX BP has been the best part of this team, so far.

    Having that s***** shift in play negated any chance of an inning ending DP.

    Giving credit where credit's due. Dalbec has certainly upped his game defensively at 1st base. He just shows no confidence at the plate.
