Agree. The Jays have a lot of work to do with their BP, and that will be, imho, their top priority. Of course, as a SOX fan, I hope whatever they do fails miserably.
With Ray and Ryu the Jays have two quality starters. If they can add some more good arms to their pitching corp, they're gonna be a tough team to deal with in the foreseeable future.
In fact, Toronto, who are 10.5 games behind the SOX and barely over .500, have almost a 20 run higher differential. Obviously, a meaningless stat.
But somewhere in Fenway Park the ghost of Rod Serling is whistling the theme to The Twilight Zone.
Also, I have no clue why anyone would think Garrett would be helpful in the BP. To get rid of him the SOX would probably have to add a prospect in the deal, even if it's for a bag of balls and still the SOX would probably have to eat part of his contract.
Ya know, Moon, with these goofy 7 inning games the SOX could have done a BP start in the 1st game. Could of, should of; obviously it doesn't matter now.
Good job, Moon, but in Thunder's defense, he really didn't have much of a chance with Richards starting a 7 inning game. And especially against the Jays' best pitcher.
