  1. My bad. I didn't notice Tyler's OP.
  2. J. Odorizzi 0-3 7.16ERA vs N. Eovaldi 7-2 3.78ERA Hopefully, the SOX can raise Odor's ERA even higher tonight. I'll be DVR'ing the game tonight because of BRUINS' PO game against the Isles. Hopefully, this won't be the BRUINS final game. GO SOX AND BRUINS!
  3. Interrupted by golf courses, cemeteries and swamps.
  4. Actually, if NYC wasn't part of NY, NY would be Kansas.
  5. If it makes you feel better, I dislike Florida more.
  6. I guess time will tell, but it's better than hearing that he had a set back.
  7. I live in upstate NY; Nothing here to brag about. Hell, the only band that made a dent from Syracuse nationally was an 80's band called THE FLASHCUBES, but only for a couple of years. The Syracuse University football team was, perhaps, the worst major college team in the country last season. They've been bad for a long time. However, if you're into ancient history, both Jim Brown and Ernie Davis played for them.
  8. There was good news regarding Sale today. 20 minutes of BP and he felt good and was very confident of returning this season. If the SOX can just hang on until then.
  9. Well, Moon, the SOX swept the Yankems on their home field under your watch. That hadn't been done in a very, very long time, so you can add that to your resume.
  10. What's a great music town like Austin doing in a dump like that?
  11. Good job by Moon. 5 game winning streak. MAX's 9 will probably be impossible to top.
  12. I've never liked Houston or the state of Texas, but I disliked Houston less when they were in the NL.
  13. Btw, wasn't Rhode Island supposed to pay for that wall?
  14. I wonder if Manny's inside the wall taking a leak?
  15. Thank goodness he doesn't pitch for an opposing team in the AL East.
  16. The good news is the SOX won't face Valdez again during the regular season.
  17. What Adriesse and Workman did tonight won't make any headlines, but I can guarantee Cora loved them both for it.
  18. Yup. If you have a great curve ball and don't throw too many hangers, you can become very rich.
  19. At this point, Dalbec's approach s/b to get in the batter's box and just look for one pitch in one location. If that pitch is thrown, great. If it isn't, well it can't be any worse than it is now.
  20. I'm guessing Dalbec has never seen a curve like that in his whole baseball career. This is not a defense of Bobby, because he's also struck out a ton against pitchers with far lesser stuff.
  21. Perez has the SOX only win against the A-holes; you might want to give him a break.
  22. Just hitting the ball extremely hard still isn't good enough. That's why a batter can fail 7 out of 10 times and still be a multi-milionaire.
  23. Funny how things change so quickly. I remember when many of us loved Workman and hated Barnes. Not that long ago.
  24. Reynolds had a fairly long career with that job description. Maybe Dalbec will, also.
  25. Dalbec reminds me of Mark Reynolds. Either a HR or nothing.
