  1. Of the 30 teams in MLB this season only 1 will be successful; the other 29 have failed. The SOX have been successful 4 times since 2004. That makes them the most successful team since the turn of the century. This is my 'glass half-full' look at the situation.
  2. No 61st for Mr Judge tonight, so the odds are he will do it against the SOX just as Maris did. Only thing to make this season bearable is the Yankems getting eliminated in the PO's again.
  3. I believe the SOX are looking ahead to tomorrow's game against the Yankems or perhaps the SOX are just not a very good team. It could be a combination of the two.
  4. It was better than posting the SOX record inside their own division.
  5. Going into tonight's game the SOX were 52-33 outside their own division.
  6. He's actually hit 2 HR's so far. So there's that.
  7. You could probably help him more than the SOX farm system.
  8. Seabold's ERA is now 10.47, which is lower than his 11.91 entering the game. My OP prediction was spot on.
  9. Come to Boston, stay on the IL.
  10. The SOX have gotten 12 games from Hosmer since the TDL.
  11. Sammy Sosa was the ultimate cheater. PED and a corked bat.
  12. It's actually more impressive because he's doing it w/o the help of PED.
  13. I believe jad is a passive aggressive.
  14. Attendance in Cincinatti reminds me of pre-1967 Fenway.
  15. Everyone has an opinion. As for Bonds and Clemens, I detest both. Btw, how come you didn't mention A-rod, whom I also detest?
  16. Actually, these were the top ten players who have not been inducted.
  17. My bad. It was supposed to be Scott Rolen. I corrected it on the original post.
  18. Another from the top ten was Keith Hernandez. Considered by many as the best defensive 1st baseman in the history of MLB.
  19. Watched an interesting youtube video earlier regarding the top 10 players who have been snubbed from the MLB HOF. None of the ten were involved in the steroid controversy. Schilling was on that list, along with Lou Whitacre, Fred McGriff, Andrew Jones, Todd Helton, Dick Allen, Scott Rolen, Billy Wagner and a couple more. McGriff was sited as the biggest snub.
  20. Except for the best, imho, LH hitter in MLB Freddy Freeman.
  21. Maybe last night was the beginning of his contract run.
  22. C. Seabold vs C. Anderson Pham Devers Bogey Dugo JD Casas REF McGuire Kike I'm predicting that Seabold lowers his ERA(11.91) after his start tonight. Go SOX!
  23. I was referring to one could either have fun tonight or one could have Wong Chang.
  24. Vin Scully and Bob Uecker. Two baseball announcers with completely different personalities, who were/are as good as it gets behind the mic.
