  1. The Sox won 7 of 8 with mostly excellent pitching. Lack of timely hitting just made all the pitchers' jobs tougher than they had to be.
  2. Any reason Lowe isn't playing with a RH on the mound? Makes no sense, plus he's much better defensively.
  3. Pirates could lower their budget even further by not spending money on bats.
  4. Btw, the Yankems lead the league with 21 games of 10 or more runs.
  5. These nice numbers don't hide the lack of timely hitting and productive outs from one's eyes.
  6. Today might be a good day to do one of those double digit run explosions.
  7. I didn't post top 4 or 5. I was referring to the posters who keep begging the Sox for more runs, thinking this offense is capable of that.
  8. Funny that the Sox looked like they filled a hole in the starting rotation and then the normally good BP decided to take a dump tonight.
  9. Also, many here believe the Sox offense is better than it actually is.
  10. Many Sox posters have been trained to never give credit to the opposing pitcher.
  11. The Sox haven't scored enough runs lately to have anything but high leverage situations.
  12. Actually, I'm a little surprised they got 2 against Skenes. The Sox did get 7 hits, which ties the most hits Skenes has given up this season. So congrats to that.
  13. Having players do what they can't do is bad managing. Cora checks so many boxes.
