Here's an pretty good defensive stat on JBJ: From the start of the 2020 season thru today JBJ has played 263 games in the OF w/o committing an error. Yup, he catches the ball.

Just checked Almonte's lifetime OPS+ and JBJ's lifetime OPS+. Almonte's is 82. JBJ's is 85. Btw, both's lifetime stats in other offensive areas are similar also.

Speaking of prices, I just read that one of the NHL's best players signed an 8 year deal worth 76 mil. NHL players must be much better at budgeting their money than MLB players.
