    N. Cortes vs B. Bello Worth watching just to see if Bello continues to pitch well. To me he looks like the real deal and exhibits much confidence on the mound. Cortes has probably been the Yankems' best starter this season, so runs will be at a premium. But, again, the only real importance of this game, IMHO, is to see, hopefully, the continued improvement of Mr Bello. Go SOX!

    Familia will be DFA'd; perhaps breaking a record for most DFA'd relievers in a season. I say if a team can break a record, they should go for it.

    Who's worse? I'm curious. But it was either Familia or Ort as RH relievers. Personally, I would have had more trust in the LH Strahm.

    Hard to win with 3 reliable relievers and the team's best hitter completely lost at HP. But other than that.

    Many long range contracts accept the fact there's gonna be 'breakdown years.' The thing that makes the Judge acquisition even more attractive is that the SOX could obtain a pretty good haul for Devers in a trade. But this is fantasy land. I doubt Judge will leave the Yankems.

    If that's the case, maybe the SOX should go after him and then trade Devers next season. I like the fact that Devers is only 25, but Judge could do serious damage at Fenway for quite a while. Just a thought.

    No question Judge is MVP. Imagine this Yankem team's offense w/o Judge this year. In fact, he may be the most MVP of any player in years.

    Perfect example of a mistake by a pitcher. Last year JD would have hit that FB down the middle for a homer. This year it's warning track.

    The Yankem announcers are creaming their shorts over Judge. Judge won't be the 1st horse to win the triple crown.

    Anytime a pitcher throws a curve or a slider, there's a chance it will hang. This year a batter like JD would pop it up or hit it foul. Not so with Judge.

    Yankem announcers said Judge hit a good pitch, but they're lying a-holes.

    Good hitters make pitchers pay for mistakes. Judge is hitting mistakes at a very high clip.

    Dugo's a good contact hitter. He's the least of the SOX problems.

    Josh Donaldson also represents what 23 million gets you. Bang for the buck is pretty rare in MLB nowadays.
