  1. Casas has looked impressive at the plate tonight. Maybe he's figured out that 1st base is his if he wants it.
  2. The way the SOX have handled Cole in the past(4.55ERA against the SOX) I figured they'd score some runs.
  3. Bogey is doing his contract run. I don't know what Devers is doing, but he still has another year.
  4. I remember Stengel never let Whitey Ford pitch at Fenway after Ford's early failures there. Wonder if the Yankem manager will provide Cole with the same courtesy?
  5. I'm guessing whoever hits the last HR wins the game.
  6. Pretty normal for him over the last 6 weeks. He appears pretty much lost at the plate.
  7. They said it was a cheap HR.
  8. Now there's a Fenway HR. Of course, there's no cheap HR's in Yankem Park.
  9. One can only guess how many HR's Williams would have hit in Yankem Park if he had played there his whole career.
  10. I'm probably wrong, but I do think it reverts back to the completed 5th inning.
  11. In Yankem Park McGuire's HR would have looked like 400 feet.
  12. No question concerning Pivetta's durablity, but the fact remains he's a #4 or a #5 starter on a good team.
  13. Pivettabout it! The talking horse hits another.
  14. Not only should Robo umps replace the current HP chUMPS; they should also beat the crap out of them for their ineptness.
  15. Obvious catcher's interference and no one challenges. Hello, SOX dugout, wake up in there.
  16. He's off paternity leave.
  17. Nah, I've been using that for the last couple years after he gives up a dinger.
  18. When it comes to Devers, it used to be swing hard because you're likely to hit it. Over the last 6 weeks or so it's been swing hard in case you hit it.
  19. Unfortunately, I'm getting the Yankem feed. The bozos in the booth keep criticizing Fenway for giving up HR's even though their Yankem Park has an embarrassingly short RF fence. Then one of the clowns says, but both of those HR'S weren't Fenway homers. Hard to criticize NESN as long as there are morons like the ones working for YES.
  20. Love seeing Cole giving up the dingers.
  21. Pivettabout it. I believe Nick is near the top in games started this season. Tonight is his 29th start. Just checked; his 29 starts are tied with 5 other guys for most games started.
  22. Is Josh Donaldson the most overpaid everyday player in MLB at 23 mil/year? He's got to be in the top 5.
  23. Very nice D from Bogey.
