  1. Give me whatever Wakefield's drinking.
  2. That HR Ramirez hit reminded me of the HR YAZ belted in the 1978 PO game against the Yankems.
  3. Even having JC in the booth didn't help.
  4. The only thing worse than seeing Cordero at 1st was seeing Clemens at the ceremony.
  5. Shouldn't JD be driving in some runs?
  6. Kutter is a keeper. As I've posted before, I believe he has the best stuff of any SOX starter.
  7. He also has a 0.98WHIP, which is excellent.
  8. The Guardians' McKenzie has been averaging 6 innings per his 18 starts this season. He's also one of the relatively few African-Americans currently playing MLB.
  9. T. McKenzie vs K. Crawford Duran Dugo Bogey JD VAZ Cordero Dalbec JBJ Downs Nothing to say that hasn't already been said.
  10. No doubt the edge in stats goes to Soto. But keep in mind that Devers' accomplishments have been achieved in the high pressure atmosphere of Boston, while Soto is playing in a whole different kind of environment. Not saying Soto wouldn't be as highly successful in NY or Boston, but the point is we'll never know until that happens, if ever.
  11. I'd guess no. Also, the Yankems now allow mustaches.
  12. You're probably right about Cora; Damn it!
  13. Based on my own personal opinion. They're like A-holes, everybody has one.
  14. You can play with your WAR, but I'd rather have Devers.
  15. I know, Moon. What I don't understand is this love affair with Bogey when it's obvious Devers is the 'vastly better' player.
  16. How is Soto 'vastly better' than Devers?
  17. I find 7 HR's and 39 RBI close to insulting.
  18. If I'm Cora, I'd start sending out my resumes.
  19. With only 4 days left in July I can't help but wonder if any team ever had no wins by a starter for one particular month during the season. The SOX definitely have a good shot of doing exactly that.
  20. I believe the SOX play Cleveland again tomorrow.
  21. Col Mustard in the library with a candlestick.
  22. The pitchers' velocity is measured a couple of feet from where he releases the pitch. In the old days the velocity was measured where the ball crossed home plate.
  23. JD's sucking and Bogey's lack of production are definitely Bloom's fault.
  24. Wakefield should open a lemonade stand.
