    EO charged with 3 earned runs. I'd like to run this thru this thread. If a pitcher's own error allows a runner to reach base and that runner scores, should that be considered an earned run? I know it's not, but I've always questioned that.

    That's a tough one. He is one of the very few that would get a decent return, but OTOH, he is inexpensive and the SOX need to keep some players of quality.

    I'm sure Wake is a nice guy, but between him, Mazz and Youk, it just makes me miss Remy more.

    The main reason JD is suffering this season is because a recently published book titled THE ART OF PITCHING TO ROBOTS has been read by most MLB pitchers.

    The father of the Cleveland pitcher was pitching for the Yankems when Ortiz hit his game winning 2 run homer in the 4th game of the 2004 ALCS.
