  1. He was making bad moves when the SOX were healthy, so that excuse won't fly.
  2. Having watched every SOX game this season, NOTHING Cora does anymore surprises me.
  3. He's definitely approaching Dick Stuart territory, but Stuart was a better hitter than Franchy. I know that's a low bar.
  4. Most of the stuff I hear during a SOX broadcast goes in one ear and out the other, but when I hear that no SOX starter has a win in the month of July, my response is "Holy Shite!"
  5. He bats LH. Why would he hit 90 HR's at Fenway?
  6. EO charged with 3 earned runs. I'd like to run this thru this thread. If a pitcher's own error allows a runner to reach base and that runner scores, should that be considered an earned run? I know it's not, but I've always questioned that.
  7. That's a tough one. He is one of the very few that would get a decent return, but OTOH, he is inexpensive and the SOX need to keep some players of quality.
  8. I believe if he hit 1 HR each game would accomplish that.
  9. That pitch would have broken Panda's belt.
  10. Dalbec no longer shares 3rd place in SOX HR's.
  11. Bobby Deestruction. I guess he's timed it perfectly so he won't be traded. Dalbec is a master of timing.
  12. I'm sure Wake is a nice guy, but between him, Mazz and Youk, it just makes me miss Remy more.
  13. The main reason JD is suffering this season is because a recently published book titled THE ART OF PITCHING TO ROBOTS has been read by most MLB pitchers.
  14. SOX needed another wild pitch. Bye, JD.
  15. The father of the Cleveland pitcher was pitching for the Yankems when Ortiz hit his game winning 2 run homer in the 4th game of the 2004 ALCS.
  16. No doubt. If it wasn't for Franchy, the SOX would only be a couple games behind the Yankems.
  17. Big game for the SOX if they want all AL East teams at .500 or above.
  18. Cleveland decided to join in on the Keystone Cops defense.
  19. EO's trade value continues to decline.
  20. Another tough question in a season of tough questions.
  21. My bad; I did correct it. Forgot about Story; out of sight, out of mind.
  22. Dalbec with his 9th dinger is tied for third in HR's for SOX. Yup, believe it.
  23. I think Dalbec was getting upset that Cleveland was walking Cordero to get to him.
