    Yup, I met him during the YAZ HOF induction. One of the nicest guys one could ever meet. As a player he had the added responsibility of keeping Williams in line. On and off the field.

    The first time Uecker was on the Carson show he told Johnny that when he was a kid the house he and his parents lived in caught on fire. He added that the only thing that survived was the bathroom. Carson asked Bob how did that happen? Uecker replied that the bathroom was 20 feet from the house.
