  1. Congrats to 'Cona for taking the Guardians to five games against the Yankems with the weakest offense in the PO's.
  2. Having Donaldson batting 5th makes Boone look like the crap manager he actually is. Note to Astros: stop throwing hanging pitches to Bader; he's a master at hitting them.
  3. The 2018 SOX won a total of 119 games. The 2022 Dodgers won a total of 112 games. Hopefully, the 2022 Yankems will win a total of 100 games.
  4. I soitenly hope so.
  5. Goodbye Dodgers and take your 111 wins with you. They mean absolutely nothing at this point. Goodbye Mookie, but don't feel bad. Some on this board still think you're some kind of god.
  6. Cleveland is in the PO's for 3 reasons. 1)pitching, 2)defense, and 3)playing in a very weak division. Their offense is blatantly weak.
  7. Here comes the Judge. 8 AB's and 7 K's. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying that.
  8. I'm pretty sure Bernie wasn't invited to Zimmer's funeral.
  9. After 162 regular season games Tampa and Toronto ended up playing two more games than the SOX. The final verdict was that all 3 teams failed.
  10. I think Dugo is good. He's a good hitter and a good fielder and has a decent arm. But then everyone has their own definition of 'good.'
  11. I believe that almost excellent catch by Dugo pretty much sums up the SOX season.
  12. SOX fans have had the privilege of having Remy and ECK doing the color and both have been excellent in their own individual way. And OB does play-by-play better than most.
  13. And if one thinks he's gonna miss ECK now, one is gonna miss him a lot more when he's replaced by Youk next year.
  14. I finally agreed with something you posted. Amazing.
  15. With his 62 HR's Judge hit a HR every 11.3 PA's.
  16. Excluding the PED cheaters(Sosa and Bonds), Jim Rice's 406 total bases in 1978 is still the most for a single season since Joe DiMaggio's 418 in 1937. Judge at this point has 390 total bases.
  17. Cole breaks the Yankems' single season strike out record. Cole also gave up his 33rd HR of the season which leads the AL. Let's all hope he continues to continue his post-season suckage.
  18. Congrats to Albert Pujols for his 703 HR's. Placing him 3rd by non-cheaters in total career HR's. He still plans on retiring after this season.
  19. Every GM in MLB would take Devers over Bogey in a NY minute. And it's not about age, it's about production.
  20. I'll stick with Devers as best player.
  21. Pham finishing the season "not with a bang, but a whimper."
  22. Grand Salami by Bogey!
  23. If one liked early Springsteen and the E Street band, one will like Gaslight Anthem.
  24. Nice hustle by Devers there.
  25. I believe that JADDA THE HUTT projects a lot.
