  1. I believe this chUMPIRING crew requires service dogs.
  2. Similar to the Rangers, there's no rest stops in this Braves' line-up.
  3. The SOX have to keep a salting Morton. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
  4. Entering tonight's game the Rays are 4-14 in the month of july.
  5. Alonzo performing a HR Derby simulation against the Yankems.
  6. Right now the game is in rain delay. Have no idea when it's scheduled to start.
  7. NESN would be much better if they just made Merloni a regular in the booth.
  8. Dodgers to the rescue again. Seems like when the SOX are in a bind with a player(s), here come the Dodgers to help save the day They also helped the SOX immensely by not re-signing Turner and Martin. Thank you, LA.
  9. On the optimistic meter, that scores a 10. 10 being the highest.
  10. Seeing that Bello is scheduled to pitch tomorrow, it appears it will be another BP opener. Expect to see Pivetta follow which ever reliever starts the game.
  11. Morton(RH) vs TBD After the SOX competed against some sub .500 teams the best team in MLB visits the Fens for 2 games. A sweep by the SOX would be awesome, but even a split wouldn't be a disaster. Morton is a good pitcher, but his being RH is a plus for the SOX. Go SOX!
  12. Bloom did attempt to trade JD, but only the Mets were willing to give up something worth while, but then they backed off at the last minute. I know you knew that.
  13. Doesn't completely remove the bad taste of losing 2 of 3 from Oakland, but it helps.
  14. Very good job by the SOX BP tonight.
  15. Speaking of beer, I've always loved the phrase "Beauty is in the eyes of the beerholder."
  16. Well, both softball and bowling have beer in common.
  17. I remember when I played SS in high school in the early '60's(all glove, no bat), I proudly owned a Wilson Nelly Fox glove. It was a thing of beauty.
  18. I'm guessing Duvall will be traded.
  19. I have Vogelbach on my fantasy softball beer team.
  20. A couple of brain farts on the bases tonight, Anyway I believe it's about time to promote Duran to an everyday player.
  21. Good job. I have Alonso on my fantasy HR derby team.
