  1. I'm impressed with your ORThography. Note: I had to look that one up in the dictionary.
  2. There would have to be some type of extORTion involved. Perhaps blackmail.
  3. Just heard that our good buddy Cordero after a hot start with the Yankems is now batting .178 with a .208 OBP. But it's early.
  4. Bloom: "Ort will be DFA'd." Cora: "Fine, but who's gonna do the barbecuing on our days off?" Bloom: "No problem. I'll find another pitcher at Goodwill who has barbecuing experience."
  5. Arroyo should stay away from the weight room. His body doesn't handle muscles well.
  6. Ort on his way out the door. Having Ort on this team again magnifies the SOX weak farm system.
  7. The hard-handed SOX 2nd baseman didn't help either. Arroyo was removed from the game because of a tight right hamstring. I thought he was overdue for an injury.
  8. McGuire gave Kluber a target and Kluber hit the target consistently. Not that complicated..
  9. Excellent exhibition of pitching tonight by Kluber.
  10. Have to be impressed with Kluber's pitch count.
  11. True, but I'm not that surprised about Dugo.
  12. Duran has changed his approach at the plate; bat held higher, less leg kick. Of course, no player changed his approach at the plate during a career more than Dwight Evans.
  13. Or the title of a Dire Straits' song "Money For Nothing."
  14. Masa might be fun to watch this season.
  15. Paxton is a fictional character.
  16. Of course. SOX have to keep their series winning streak going.
  17. Big thank you to O's manager for allowing Bradish to pitch in the 3rd.
  18. 81 pitches in 2.1 innings has to be challenging a record.
  19. Games like this will break the O's sell-out streak.
  20. Grand Slam Duran! Hungry like the wolf.
  21. Getting the O's feed and was informed that Bradish had a 40 pitch inning last season. Wait for it; it was against Boston.
  22. O's are way overdue to lose. Their W/L record is misleading because of an early easy schedule.
