The SOX hitting coach apparently believed "swing hard in case you hit it." He's changed his philosophy of late "don't swing hard because you'll probably hurt yourself."

There were 100 hits in last night's game. 50 by each team. Finishing 2nd and playing the Laffs was much better than finishing first and playing the Bolts.
